I think resigning over that single issue for me is excessive, but, I'm relaxed either way, as I think his position on the board would be a conflict with this blogs or whatever it is he does. IMHO. I have not read any other comments blue but broadly agree with you, the lunatic fringe on both sides are not to be followed.

He resigned Cambridge, the board never forced him. Plus I think he is better outside commenting than inside. Inside is too much of a conflict of interests. IMHO. It will be interesting to see if they appoint another represenative. I hope so, as I would like to see fan representation.

I personally wouldn’t go overboard defending either party. Tonev and Griffiths were both dealt with, (but employment retained) for racism, I would expect similar type investigation and outcome for CG for offensive messages being sent from his account. I would have no such mercy for any re-offender, regardless of their employer. Allah Akbar ….

Free speech should be protected, of that there is no question. Both sides, however, have a responsibility to behave responsibly both when presenting issues, arguments and points and being tolerant in their reception. The issue pre-dates CG’s employment, while Tonev/ Griffiths were employees. Celtic obviously undertook an investigation and came to a conclusion, similarly this company has started an investigation, which should be fairly straight forward, as should any action. I wouldn’t imagine outcomes to be significantly different, however repeat offenders should clearly be parted company with.

Llambias and Leach lost the NOMAD. If they had a business plan it was well disguised, in a plan to sell off all the assets and get the company into lots of debt. if that was the plan they were doing well, however, its not one the shareholders wanted and voted accordingly. You clearly know nothing of what a NOMAD would want or require. Mr Shackleton assisted Naibu for goodness sake and look what happened there.

I have no idea if Chris Graham is a good or a bad guy, and I am not sure its my judgement alone to make. I have only ever read bits and bobs. However his prophet tweets have no place in a broad open club like Rangers. In the same way issues with Tonev and Griffiths have been dealt with as should Chris. Racism and sectarianism are an embarrassment to an open tolerant society. On the more general point, I think fan representation is a positive and should embraced in Scottish football.

WH Ireland resigned while Llambias and Leach were in charge of the company. That’s a fact. I have no doubt they let them go without working notice or negotiated with them, thus are culpable in my book for the suspension of the share. SoF you don’t seem to understand the Chair’s role. He manages the board of directors. He is not meant to personally fund the company. That is the job of the sales, operations and revenue generation. He may also be part of the team seeking funding to support the company.

SoF, The other 43% never voted against King, most of them abstained, therefore only around 10% voted against him. The board has a mix of people experienced in running the football club, from industry and finance. Personally I think it looks like a reasonable mix. A marked improvement on their predecessors. I would have liked Llambias and Leach to stay on the team, but when they lost the NOMAD, I lost all professional respect for them. Petty, childish and probably dis-honest. The NOMAD is for the club, the loss of the NOMAD by Llambias and Leach was poor in the extreme, we await developments on the new NOMAD, steps so far seem positive, from afar, however I have been away all week. Level5 have been a great additional, most of the mainstream media seem to be singing from the right hymn sheet. Much better than Media House, who seemed to spend most of their time threatening the customers and asking lawyers to write letters. Putting a new management team in place is better than not, which seems to be what the previous board intended on doing, dealing in a fair and proper manner with McDowell and McCoist is also a good move. All in all it seems reasonable work is being done, however its way to early to judge comprehensively.

Its certainly a step in the right direction. A good first week, long way to go, but steps in the right direction a certainly being made.

You seem to have missed the point, if you were to employ one of there quality chaps. Given the Rangers experience where they went head to head, would you employ Level5 or Media House, I personally think Level5 wiped the floor with Media House
