RE: A good first week off the pitch13 Mar 2015 10:58
SoF,
The other 43% never voted against King, most of them abstained, therefore only around 10% voted against him. The board has a mix of people experienced in running the football club, from industry and finance. Personally I think it looks like a reasonable mix. A marked improvement on their predecessors.
I would have liked Llambias and Leach to stay on the team, but when they lost the NOMAD, I lost all professional respect for them. Petty, childish and probably dis-honest. The NOMAD is for the club, the loss of the NOMAD by Llambias and Leach was poor in the extreme, we await developments on the new NOMAD, steps so far seem positive, from afar, however I have been away all week.
Level5 have been a great additional, most of the mainstream media seem to be singing from the right hymn sheet. Much better than Media House, who seemed to spend most of their time threatening the customers and asking lawyers to write letters.
Putting a new management team in place is better than not, which seems to be what the previous board intended on doing, dealing in a fair and proper manner with McDowell and McCoist is also a good move.
All in all it seems reasonable work is being done, however its way to early to judge comprehensively.
