That’s the trouble with making constant predictions based on pure gut feeling. If they don’t come to fruition you loose credibility and the good things one says based on fact are lost in the haze.

All the positives on the operational front aside. Surely Westend must have done Due Diligence on GV and who would have to demonstrate they have the resources to fund this sale. Clearing the balance sheet of a major proportion of debt coupled with small raises would be sufficient to keep the company solvent. Equally GV will have done a reciprocal DD on Nobel so to fall at the first hurdle would be a crazy waste of time, effort and resources on their part. Being in suspension does create uncertainty which coupled with no news just adds to it. GLA

Good point Uncle. Probably worth mentioning that within the agreement there will be a Terms of Reference provision clearly defined. This will outline precisely what GV have committed to on the work over front and beyond. GLA.

The write off of the Texas debt referenced in the narrative alongside the accounts will be a major positive.

Given the current estimated life of the wells at 20 years plus, it secures PPPs future for many years to come. Shareholders should not underestimate the material value of receiving a ORRI on oil production from these wells. There is a lot of oil in these 2,036 acres and we will rank equally with the landowners with this ORRI and receive monthly revenue income from all oil sales from Texas once production recommences. We are hopeful to see oil production starting within months."
