To my guys it is brilliant that the narrative has changed. No one is talking about or blaming covid anymore. Great times ahead for us all. On a personal note get to visit my son (early Nov) who lives in the USA. Sure loads more in the same boat as me. Lots more air travel to look forward to and demand for oil. The planets are aligning in TLW’s favour. GLA LTH’s.

Yep I sold out last year and took a big hit. Still watch from the sidelines and wish all the holders sincere good luck with this one. My regret was not selling when the fake sheikh deal was first announced back in early January 20. Remember being on holiday (turned 60) when the bad news broke, it certainly took the shine off the trip. Good luck guys.
Until we get a positive RNS I reckon we’ll need to rely on good old POO. With all that’s happened in Afghanistan I think it will be dawning on some of the middle east producers that the USA might not be by their side should they need to call on them. More instability and reliance on a higher all price to upgrade defences likely to be further up their list of priorities. Add in diminishing Covid levels and all’s looking good. GLA LTH’s
Vinn good to hear you are invested. This share is a rollercoaster . A word of warning unless you follow this board religiously you will not suss that there are loads of sheisters on here. Frankly these boards highlight the best and worse of human nature. As far as the best goes there are some genuine guys on here.
RE: Those posting bearish comments already sold22 Aug 2021 09:03
With the next Opec meeting just around the corner (Sept 1st) I reckon we’ll start to hear some oil price supportive comments coming out from behind the scenes next week. Having fought long and hard to gain control of the OP there is no way OPEC will let others rest control from them. I reckon we’ll finish the week in positive territory. Totally relaxed. GLA LTH’s
You pose a fair question Seek Knowledge. I don’t mean to be dismissive but if you are worried about the future of oil in 5 years time oil companies are probably not the best place to invest your hard earned money. You’ll have too many sleepless nights.
I totally agree with your sentiments Rhino. Investing in BP is a banker. It’s all about the divi not a lot of hope about capital gains. Those investors who want to double their money should look elsewhere. I’ve held BP for several years and will continue do so. Its a great investment but not for capital gains.
Wow what a small world bumped into a couple of Tullow Oil Engineers. Amazing coincidence. I was d down my local and I got into a conversation with couple of Kenyans. They told me that their government is just about to sign off Tullow project. Brilliant news.
