Numis, note 26th Sept, the house broker forecast H1 cash of $58m.. snippet of the note by Biffa from his 10th Oct post below... However, 1R have reported actual cash position of $37m, some $21m below Numis' forecast... Isn't it somewhat surprising that Numis were so far out, especially given the note was ONLY 1 week before H1 end? If debt can be serviced and reduced without the need to sell stock then I don't think it's an issue...The crucial point being whether the banks will continue to support the group...If so then it comes down to whether they can continue to build the business.. I don't recall any of Blackrock's FEES benefiting Blinkx's shareholders or the seeing the subsequent rise in sp.... yes, agree, for 'their' investors not 1R PIs... Look at Tosca's investment in San Leon.... It's entirely possible Tosca pushed for the any of the BoD changes or acquisitions, isn't it? because they weren't seeing a return? Didn't their average work out at around 300p (30p pre-consolidation),

Eddie/BDC, fair point... Budgets will get lower as advertisers reduce spending...and also direct selling without the need for agencies... JP Morgan reduced the number of sites from 1/2m to 5,000 without it affecting them much... That's a huge reduction in sites... they did recently move back up to 10,000 but still 2.5% of the number they were using... "Rosen cited the example of JPMorgan Chase where the brand’s digital ad spend had been going to half a million sites. When it pared that group to less than 5,000 sites, ad performance wasn’t affected. “That’s a bellwether for the industry. This isn’t just about scale and reach. There's already lower inventory available... due to companies like P&G, JP Morgan, FT etc reducing the number of agencies/websites they cover... I agree, it would hit the re-targeting companies the most.... but i believe it will also hit every company within the ad industry... and given Google are doing similar, the effects might be across the board... I also agree that the internet can't survive without advertising.... There are also changes coming from Europe,GDPR, which need to be implemented by May next year... These will also affect companies within the ecosystem... Is 1R immune?
