They assess the risk and if it's too risky then take security... standard practice... In this case, SVB, have taken 1st charge as an Administrative Agent... It's a change to 1R financial standing... Last 4 yrs, they've gone from $126m cash in bank to needing a loan... Perk managed to increase their facility with SVB just 3 months before 1R bought them... It helps if the bank knows you.
