Wiseinvestor23 ref 15.57 post In relation to your comment about IslandMagee I get to Late Q1 Early Q2 based on the conditions attached to the Marine License. Some of the conditions require notice to be given before work covered by the license can start. There is one that requires I believe it is six months notice to be given before works start. I therefore think that work that can be done under the planning permission will be done then the work required that is covered under the marine license will come next.

We have an Investor's event next week at Methil. Two emails later I am still trying to find out if the event will be available online or if I can submit questions in advance. Is it just me that has problems getting responses to emails? Is anyone going to next week and is willing to ask questions on my behalf.

IslandMagee Energy Limited and Harland and Wolff Group Limited are both separate subsidiaries which operate in their own areas. I agree that the share price appears to have been trading in an abnormal way. There is no evidence to support your view that there is some kind of government invovlement. This is especially case when you bear in mind that BJ was not the decision maker and any involvement by him would risk invalidating any decision.

I disagree with you it has to be remembered that IslandMagee is owned and the license is held by IslandMagee Energy Limited the shipbuilding sites are owned by Harland and Wolff Group Limited. These are legally two separate companies so one cannot fund the other except by Intra Company Loans which have to be in the best interests of each company. After yesterday's RNLI RNS I cannot see any need for such Intra Company Loans.

The Aisling Gabrielle has now docked and is scheduled to remain until noon on the 19th November. The W.B.Yeats is due within the hour and is scheduled to leave at noon on the 18th.

ThisTimeNextYeer ref 16.00 post When I checked the Belfast Harbour site the Aisling Gabrielle was not showing. It looks like HARL has a new client as according to this page from the NI Ferry site she is owned by Frazer Ferries but that information is 2 years old. Due to her size I am surprised that she is coming into Belfast.

RNLI 2020 Annual Report page 22 under charitable spending. So that means that 35 refits have had to be carried over from 2020 to 2021. So if a further 64 refits were due to be done this year it looks like there might be a significant number of refits for this year. Also the Entsha is due in Appledore next week Tuesday so Appledore might be very busy.

It looks like Cenkos are not being paid enough to put out research every minute. I cannot find a research note since July. We must be due a research note soon.

Alright we were expecting the Marine License RNS but somebody explain the RNLI RNS that came out of the left field with over 400 lifeboats that is a multi million pound annual contract. I think we my have a uptick in the share price.

I saw this article https://des.mod.uk/rfa-fort-austin-fort-rosalie-desa-sale-egypt/ I note that both ships are 185 ft so repairs can be done at either Belfast or Appledore. Realistically what are the chances of HARL getting the contract bearing in mind how busy Scotland is.

Si_Derman Can I test your local knowledge at the time of the purchase of Appledore it was noted that there was I think it was 29 acres of freehold land included. In relation to this land where is this new development. I am thinking that the reason for JW's irritation is that it might have scuppered his own plans for the land.
