JLC, My thinking assumes they will get NICE approval for AIHL after the 3 year data gathering, and then would wait say 6-9 months for the actual NICE approval, and then start commissioning thereafter for real....the actual physical rollout wouldn't be overnight, so you have to add on a bit of time for that. (sorry JB, I promise not to answer any more of your questions, lol)

Joe, your question: I would consider reinvesting again if/when/after there's another fundraise....

the main issue now is the time horizon....I expect they'll need to draw up a business plan with a view to breaking even in about 5 years. Possibly they will also need to do a significant cost reduction exercise as well as part of a deal with iis to get a hold of necessary funds....

A placing at 2p in December or January seems a far more likely outcome....

It has a NICE recommendation that more research be done so they can decide whether to give it full approval in a few years. but surely you don't think grant funding to do a localised roll out in the Greater Manchester area is going to avoid a serious conversation about funding just for 2024 . November will be interesting as GDR will need to lay its cards on the table and explain how it intends to keep the lights on without monthly drawdowns from RF.....

If you had NICE approval there already would be loads of sales because hospitals WOULD HAVE to buy it and they would get the funding.....it's that simple

...trouble is JB, you don't just need any news. it's got to be one of 4 things:

1. Full NICE approval for AIHL test

2. Full NICE approval for stroke product

3. A new strain of COVID that forces the government to order the reintroduction of social distancing and testing

4. A buyout of GDR

(odds of 3 and 4 happening anytime soon must be very low. odds of either 1 or 2 happening seem zero to me within the next 3 and a half years)

Yep, technology and health care, it makes sense. the problem is that the funding situation doesn't fit the long-term investment profile needed. what they need is for a venture capital fund to come along, buy them out and then stump another £18m or so to see this through until they can break even.....

Don't want to be condescending mate. But you have to get to the basics of how NHS works (and other European set ups work as well). If you do a bit of research on NICE, then you might start to get this.....

The only news here that actually counts is full NICE approval...(Essentially what you have going on here is a regulatory and sales process all at once on two products: NICE) The trouble is, it takes time......(think years rather than months)

There aren't any "significant" shorts on GDR at the moment. Check out the short interest tracker website. It shows up short positions if over 0.5%.
