Interesting to look back at one of the pearl's wisdom from LTH14 in June (if you like a laugh):

As an outsider looking in, I get the gut feeling that this could be a strong recovery play at some point, but this just isn't the right time in the cycle to invest. Consumers are really fxcked at the moment.....how long will it take for that to change is the billion-dollar question. A bit of guesswork, but my hunch would be that consumer demand could start improving towards the end of 2024. We not there yet!

I guess that explains why you don't understand the RNSs of course.....if you could read properly, you probably wouldn't even be here anymore.

I think you suddenly started ranting on the BUR board because you're extremely jealous. You noticed BUR shot up 23% on Friday afternoon in the space of about 30 minutes. There's no way you're actually an adult. I bet you just used your parents' credit card to buy shares in GDR and KOD and it's all gone massively wrong.

I hadn't posted on here for over 2 days, so I wonder what's sparked Stephen's sudden fit of angst.....(perhaps he actually wants me to post on here more often....lol)

You should really get psychiatric help before it's too late. Stop trying to blame Stocksaint or Starrenstoff for your own hideous investment decisions! (Things are bound to get worse here, so you need to get a grip on yourself).

Personally think there's an element of "too good to be true" but I expect this to keep rerating upward over the coming weeks/months. Interesting that the Jefferies analyst doesn't think Argentina will get anywhere near to achieving a 50% discount this time!!! I'm also wondering if Argentina will even both actually trying to appeal. I believe they would need to post a sizeable bond if they did. And the comments from Preska are so damming. Argentina lost spectacularly.

This used to trade broadly speaking in a 1600 to 2000 range, so we should see these kinds of prices within the next couple of weeks I would think. We should also have some decent financial results to cheer next week as well......

Milei will definitely find an interested audience in the US given the large right-wing populist movement there but we can't assume that he will win the Argentine election in October....all hangs in the balance. Obviously, it's not absolutely certain yet whether a win for Milei would be good/bad or neutral for Burford anyway.

I think this line might actually have a meaning: to me: he's saying there won't be cost cuts...they'll be looking to do some sort of huge fund raise in my view off the back of the future prospects of the two products that are in play.
