They make it crystal clear they also need funding to remain a going concern. It's in black and white.

Lol, yes Carlos. I think FDA approval and US commercialisation could hold the key to the first significant sales. I see things moving slowing in Europe and UK. In Europe, maybe one or two hospitals adopting as in Manchester but that won't pay the bills. I guess FDA approval could take about 9-12 months to achieve after they receive the funding to do the necessary testing/data generation on US soil.

I think GDR are being very clear what's about to happen though. From RNS of 30 November:

"The Group and Company does not currently have sufficient cash resources to continue as a going concern during the forecast period due to the time expected to be needed to gain commercial traction in its revenues. Therefore, the Company will need to raise further equity, or other funding, in early 2024 in order to continue as a going concern.

"A sponsor coming on board for FDA fast route to market would be amazing!!"

Sponsor?? Surely securing FDA approval and US commercialisation is the main carrot at this stage for IIs participating in a badly needed fundraise.

Bighammer, good chance I will be investing in Q1 if they can raise a decent amount of money somehow. Difficult to say where the share price will be at that point, but would expect much lower than where it is now.

From RNS dated 30 November: "Further drawdowns are conditional on meeting certain share trading criteria, which are set out in note 6 and were also set out in the Company's circular issued on 24 April 2023 and therefore further drawdowns cannot be considered as guaranteed. The Board is planning for an equity or debt raise in early 2024 to support the growth and development plans of the business and allow the Group to continue to operate as a going concern"

If they raise less than £5m, not sure if I'll bother at all. Tricky one. As it could then rise on could news, but sustainability and cash burn soon become a worry.

If they announce a fundraiser in January, say at 1p or 2p, I probably will invest again. But I'll be wary not to hold too long if they don't raise more than £10m. If it's less than that would be looking to make good gains on news in and out, but not hang around until the following year. This business is going to need lots of money pumped in to come good.

As if they suddenly going to announce millions in sales from Europe in the next couple of months. This kind of thinking is just ridiculous. Say two hospitals in Europe said they were going to start using it, this would equate to about 100k in revenue a year. It will take years to get to big sales for AIHL.

Get real. They burn through £400k per month. If they were going to get the drawdown money regularly/and had been receiving it regularly there wouldn't be a huge immediate issue. But clearly, this is not the case and not something they can rely on. By January 1st they'll only have £900k left in the bank. Hence why they need to get a fund raise arranged pretty quickly. (They do hope to receive a tax credit sometime in Q1 but they not sure exactly when). Sorry, but this is going to be big dilution through equity fundraise or bust. No one is going to lend them much money with such low revenue . They'd be lucky to borrow £10k. They need to raise some millions to see this through.

The next question is what will be the lower support level until the funding situation is or isn't straightened out.

But Jimi, would you give them £6m knowing they'll run out of funds again in about a year...I'd want to know they were on track to breakeven/turn a profit before handing over millions.

It's a placing at 1p IMO and that's if they even manage to get one agreed at all......

The numbers are the problem. First sales in Europe could mean a private Spanish hospital starting to use it, say worth £40k per year in revenue. GDR probably need to raise £16m at least in January to see them through to breakeven. IIs might say they can't do that and if there's only £6m available not viable to do the placing. It could well be the end of GDR I fear.

So now the results RNS was wrong and outdated even before it was published because you didn't like what it said. lol

Or was the drawdown triggered because suddenly GDR share price met technical parameters due to volume etc over certain timeframe? It obvious to me from wording of RNS that GDR are not banking on regular drawdowns from RF.
