Eureka, Obviously they need to get these kinds of technical appraisals done. But the bigger question here is where funding for this company is going to come from. At best they only have £1.8m left in the bank at this point at cash burn of £400k per month. Will RF drawdowns restart? RF would have to agree unless this hits 16p.

In the wording of the RNS, they really trying to make something out of what is actually quite unremarkable "news."

Getting CA or CE marking is never much of an accomplishment. It's getting actual full NICE approval that's the big deal. But GDR really need the share price to rise above 16p/and see an increase in share price volume here for financing reasons!! That's the enormous elephant in the room....

It could be Lionel, but trouble is that health payers like NHS are going to want to see proof of this product over years of testing before they implement it fully. In my view, any meaningful revenue from this is years away.....

I believe he got £277k for the 2022 financial year - guess we'll find out in November what it was for the 2023 financial year.

But I do expect we're going to hear something about funding before then. My bet is we'll hear something about funding plans either toward the end of this month or in early October.

Certainly, if the historic pattern is maintained it won't be: the share price is down by 93% since the company was first floated on the stock market and it's 58% lower over the 5-year period.

Would agree stockpick, seems like the only logical conclusion. They'll need to raise quite a bit of money but they have two products that would appear to have decent long-term chance of success. The problem is that this will be quite Ita bit as breakeven won't come for about 5 years in my view. The other problem from GDR's point of view is if it's to be a big discounted placing, will they get shareholders to vote for it?? Will be an interesting 2-3 months for this share....

GDR doesn't have years to work around financing, it has months. Key questions are by how much it can reduce costs and how much (and how) can it raise more funds?

I would be very surprised if they hadn't already started to explore funding options with the City....it shouldn't be too long before we find out something in that vein.

In the recent posts I've seen, he talks about the ongoing rollout of AIHL in the North West.......he's also posted about Alzheimer's breakthroughs!?! (I don't see an "emergency" application for GDR's POC platform in the Alzheimer arena so perhaps he's looking for a new job?)

According to GDR's website, this product is no longer commercially available.....

Seems like the big thing that went wrong for GDR lately was the wording of that drawdown deal! i.e having that 16p threshold....and that deal was only hashed 5 and a half months ago!

There were always going to be challenges, but appears the sudden inability to no longer do drawdowns is causing a bigger crisis here....

It's pretty obvious they can't do any more drawdowns as things stand, so you have to assume that current cash runs out in March-April 2024.....

Yes Slacker, the final results in November.....and they won't be able to avoid talking about funding arrangements for 2024......massively discounted placing is the most likely scenario to me

...it would be another NICE review taking about 6-9 months after the data gathering has ended....
