The soap opera that has been your posts over the past few years is way more interesting. It is hard to decide whether you have simply lost your mind, or are yet another of the many "ctag friendly" ID's, the longest standing still extant. Positioned to be quasi critical, but constantly feeding misinformation into the mix.

You claimed that you had invested in the "pre IPO." You said it was "blind faith."

Now you imply that you didn't. That this was some kind of joke.

If you did, what are your views on recent developments? How do you feel about your additional "investment?" Is it going to make you rich? Should we be kicking ourselves for not availing ourselves of the wonderful opportunity?

If not why did you lie (what else can we call your claim?) when it was still possible for others to sink more money into this company?

To the extent that there ever was a game here, it was over the instant the Nomad resigned. That was the time to sell everything to get something from the wreckage, and not to have to undergo the subsequent years of misery. It wouldn't have been a lot, because there wasn't much of a market, but it would have been something at least. And above all there would have been closure.

But of course all the fake ID's were then spinning that a new Nomad would be appointed and the company would keep its listed status, and it is hard to take such a huge loss when there is hope you might get more back later. So few if any did.

That is exactly who I meant.

Why would a brand new poster suddenly appear on this site two years after we delisted, talking up the company and hoping to make enough money from CTAG to buy a car?

Of course it is possible he or she is genuine, but how likely is it?

Where have you been out of interest? A lot has happened over the years with this company, it has been a wild ride. Not many ups for most of us, lots of downs though. The delist was a bit of a blow, not going to lie. Have you been silently with us all this time? Just too busy to post till now?

What I find extraordinary is the hostility, bordering on viciousness towards genuine, long suffering shareholders from some on this board. Anyone would think to hear you, Hairy Grotbox, that it isn't a legitimate source of righteous anger to be the unwillingly holder of shares which it has been impossible to trade on the open market for years. Shares bought with real money.

Let me ask you a simple question. Do you think shareholders themselves are to blame for their financial losses in this company?

Is that why you find the venting of their anger and frustration so "boring"?

Yes that was very telling. I have seen it before on bulletin boards for American stocks, when the sheer volume of multiple ID's caused exactly the same fat finger error, in the heat of a reply.

I sometimes think (apart from genuine shareholders) there have only been one or two posters, inhabiting a plethora of ID's for years on this board.

It is a really wicked process, and yet it STILL works. Sadly people who are financially invested can't see through it because of denial, or do realise, but still want it all to work out to save them from their losses, so want to believe even though they know that logically all these pumper ID's are fundamentally dishonest. And they therefore never ask themselves why would they be needed?

This stock, if and when it is relisted is going to the moon. You can take it to to the bank, spend all that lovely money in advance. To da moon!

We are all going to be lo life changingly rich thanks to this wonderful company, its world beating technology, and our truly amazing management. I just can't wait.

It amazes me the number of posters over the years who claimed to have had special knowledge of what was going on with this company. So many. They claimed to be "in the know" and they heartlessly fed on the credulity, hope and greed of those unfortunate enough to have taken out a financial investment in this company,

Forgive me for my cynicism but despite all their optimism and unique knowledge, none of them post on here any more. There is just you with your special connection to Amit and "the grapevine." Telling us something is "brewing."

Does anyone else (not you obviously) wonder where all these earlier experts are now, and indeed who they were in the first place? Or is it just me?

WakeyMitch There is a long history of posters to this message board demonstrating a deep knowledge, some might term it extraordinary, of the company and its putative products. They all talked a good game. No, a great one. It was impossible not to be life changingly rich by buying this stock, to listen to them. And it was so sweet of them to share, so that we could all benefit from their insight, kindness and largesse. Meanwhile the company burnt cash, sold nothing to anybody, (except diluted stock) and is now delisted. You can't even unload your holding for a fraction of its purchase price for the tax write off. We were told it would relist "as soon a possible." That was over a year ago. A year. But where are all these posters now? Why don't they explain themselves? 39MA seems to be the latest in this long line of miraculously well informed private individuals with no connection to the company. We need something tangible. Something concrete, like being able to actually buy and sell the stock. Is that too much to desire? Is it asking for the moon? Until that transpires I will continue to term his posts "mumbo jumbo." Actions not words are required.

What a thread. 39MA needs to answer one question before any shareholder cares about the mumbo jumbo he spouts. When will the shares of this company be listed on an exchange? So they can be bought and sold?

HITS It is indeed a cautionary tale, but sadly this won't the last company of this kind on AIM. In fact there are plenty of others as we speak. On the US penny stock boards too. :-( This was quite something, however, the sophistication of the pumping was extraordinary even by the standards of such tings. Almost an art form. The siege mentality created against the shorts as the great enemy (who were right all along, of course) resembled the religious fervour you can observe against disbelievers.manifested by millennial sects. Using exactly the same psychological animus. This was the triumph of hope and faith (and of course greed) over intellect and reason. And having watched it so far it is impossible not to keep at least one eye open to see the denouement, whenever it comes and however the coup de grace is delivered. Once engaged in an epic (and tragic) story you have to stay for the ending...

If they relisted tomorrow how great a financial opportunity would that be? If you are already in you can average down ready for the huge pop on all these exciting developments, if a fresh investor you have a once in a lifetime�s chance to net a ten bagger. Maybe a hundred bagger! Who would want to be out of this of this over the weekend having not had a chance to get in for a year! Anyone investing new money into this after what has happened would have to be insane, obviously. It would be like, does mankind never learn? Is our greed, gullibility and credulity limitless as a species?? But of one thing you could be sure. The pumpers would be back, the experts with their fantastically detailed knowledge, almost (but not quite) too good to be true. As would the shorts. The two sets of parasites, the yin and the yang of AIM, both licking their lips. Surely it wouldn�t work again? Would ANYONE on this board put new money in?? This stock has been utterly depressing for the light it has shone on the worst aspects of human nature. A few people have made money, perhaps a lot of it in some cases, but was it really worth it even for them? There are better, cleaner ways of making a living.

You don't see many bears either. No-one's left now there is no money to be made long or short. This message board has been an education. My personal favourite of the relatively recent, ahem, "well informed" posters was the professional broker who just happened to get his buy order filled just before suspension. He had an automated order running, see, as you do as a top drawer broker.. That was an amazing bit of bad luck, but he didn't seem too concerned, and put his considerable experience to use, getting to know the company's product, and helping out shareholders with their strategy prior to the AGM. But he didn't post much after that meeting, must have lost interest in his inadvertent investment for some reason. And now I can't even find any of his posts. He was brilliant though, really knew his stuff, fair play. Wonder what happened to him, like many things about this company and this very message board it is all a bit of a mystery.

On 28 March the company said, "in due course, we will seek a return to a trading platform." It is now almost eight months later to the day, and (unless I missed it) no steps whatsoever have been taken to seek that return. Can someone explain to me what the phrase "in due course" actually meant, or means?

Yes, Atmel was nice. Did a round trip, closing the short and then going long. Mind you that pick of yours COMS has been incredible. Haven't been trading it, wish I had!! You have to love volatile stocks like that. Carclo has to be a long from here it seems to me. As Lindon notes in another thread, there has been a sizeable insider buy, and it is clear that it isn't just to support the stock. He genuinely believes that it is undervalued, and has put his hard earned on the line as a result. Clearly the bad news is out and it is upside from here. Sadly longs who are underwater won't see it like that, but that is just psychology. You have to view it as though you are new to the stock. Would you buy now, go short, or avoid because there are better opportunities? It is definitely not a short, if you see better opportunities then of course avoid. But I like CAR as place to park some money because clearly XSense is gaining traction, and that isn't reflected in the share price any more...

Atmel down over 10% as I write this. With a leveraged position that equals ££££ :-) You have to admit I called it, way before it happened. But even if you don't admit it, this thread is the proof...

What do I think? Well I am back in, so I think we go up from here. :-) The only thing that worries me is any turbulence from Ateml's Conference Call. Once that is out of the way I'll be totally sanguine...
