IGas is a much more exciting stock than this one which is like watching paint dry.

It appears to have bottomed and is heading back up. Well done if you got in.

What most feared, sigh. Bound to be a correction after such a dizzying rise. I knew it.

Great opportunity to get in though. The basic case remains the same, the report is going to give enough scientific cover for a change in government policy. Then we explode.

There will be big swings in such a volatile small cap company before then, but now looks a fantastic opportunity to get in if you haven’t before.

Not that I’m pumping another stock. How could I be after such a catastrophic day?

Why will Igas start to drop? I fear it every day and then I remember the report sitting on Kwarteng’s desk from the British Geological Survey waiting for the decision from his successor under the new, pro fracking Truss government.

You’d be mad to sell Igas pririor to that report because if the moratorium is lifted it will explode
Money put into Angus is at best dead because of the obvious technical issues they can’t resolve and at huge risk of a collapse once all the short term traders realise this.

I agree. There will be a short term spike if and when production is announced, there will be nice volume, and it will be possible to make a trading play. I’d never hold this stock long term, but I can see the opportunity. It could have a very nice, easy to trade rise. Buy now, wait a few days for the RNS, head for the hills. I get it.

It’s tempting, I’d love to put some of my Igas profits into it for a double whammy. But the latter still continues to go up, so why sell now?

Whilst there is no sign of production here, none at all, despite all the promises on twitter. Why not? There must be technical problems. What else could it be?

And there will come a time, if this goes on much longer, when all these short term traders get itchy feet and move on. If and when that happens the price will sink.

So I’m sitting on my hands and still in IGAS till THAT shows weakness. Which may be today, who knows? I keep expecting it every day.

But he doesn’t seem to have risen very high in the ranks He led a small research team apparently, then spent several years devising Sharia compliant financial products for observant Muslims.

I’m sure there is a lot of money in that market, but all the same it doesn’t seem the most exciting, cutting edge aspect of Hedgie life…

If you can point to one I’d get in now, because that I would be a good buy signal. In fact a great one, those boys do their research.

Well that’s true enough, the tide lifts all boats. Although some rise higher because they are in a better position to exploit the end of the moratorium than others.

This message board was the decider for me. I hate all the “wouldn’t want to be out of this at the weekend” brollocks. SUCH a red flag.

But maybe my gut instinct is wrong on this one and you all make a killing. Like I say I genuinely hope you do.

IGAS is rising because of the hope that the moratorium on fracking will be ended by a new Truss government. It’s that simple. If so, well you do the math…

You are not supposed to pump other companies on a stock message board, so I won’t.

All I will say is that on the Igas board I linked to the study commissioned by the Scottish government which they used to introduce their ban. Which ironically demonstrated that there is no scientific reason for the ban. It was all politics.

I’m in IGAS and have been for a while. It’s been a fantastic stock for me so far, the best of the year. But you never know in the stock market. I could wake up on Monday to see that it has taken a huge hit and my paper gains have melted like snow on the mountainside in Spring.

Do you know the difference between the two companies, though? Apart from the obvious one that IGAS is producing whilst ANGUS only promises to do so? The message boards

IGAS wasn’t hyped before the big rise started. It wasn’t on anyone’s radar. If you look at my posting history you will see that sometimes I was one of only two or three posters the whole day.

Since I posted yesterday on here there have been nine pages of posts. I haven’t read all of them but that is also a huge red flag.

A lot of AIM companies (most?) are more concerned with printing shares and promoting speculation in the stock with promises of fabulous riches and legions of paid shills. Been there, done that. In fact I see some of the same posters on here that used to be on the board of a classic example of the genre. CTAG.

I’ll leave this company to the rest of you. I hope you make money, but unless you’re very careful I fear you’ll lose it.

I am new to this company and on the sidelines wondering whether it is worth a small punt. I came across it because it looked like it was going to blow from a TA perspective.

Can someone with history in this company refute my first impressions? That this is a company long on promises which never come to fruition? I mean I saw the tweet of the machinery and it was laughably unimpressive. Followed by a promise of an further update “this week.” Then silence.

Also is there a long history of highly dilutive cash raises? The warning sign of many a pump and dump?

I expect to get abuse from the true believers for casting doubts, but I’m doing so as a genuine matter of inquiry.

If someone can present a credible long case for this company I’m all ears. I have cash to invest and will do so if I can seen a plausible case for this being a serious, well managed and run company, which is about to produce a lot of gas.

With an obvious potential impact on the share price.

The stock has broken out of its trading range to the upside. Resistance has been broken.

And as the old adage has it, “new lows beget new lows, new highs beget new highs.”

The common view is that fracking is unsafe because of the risk of seismic events - earthquakes.

You will all know that Cuadrilla was prevented from undertaking further work, and it’s project in North West England was stopped because of two earthquakes.

But this was a political, not scientific decision. It is a matter of fact that the two earthquakes induced by Cuadrilla in April and May 2011 only measured 1.7 and 2.3 M on the Richter scale.

These events are significantly smaller than the natural seismicity of the region. The largest recent event before 2011 in the region occurred in 2009 and measured 3.7. This caused. No damage to property or the safety of the population. The British Geological Survey seismic network does not usually detect magnitudes below 2.5 in urban areas due to the background vibrations from traffic.

The above is the report, used ironically by the Scottish Government to introduce a moratorium on fracking. A political decision as I say. Because the same report says:

“There are a number of technical challenges associated with unconventional hydrocarbon extraction, though it is the Expert Scientific Panel’s view that none of these are insurmountable. The technology exists to allow the safe extraction of such reserves, subject to robust regulation being in place.”

This moratorium was political, not based on any scientific evidence. So what happens when a pro fracking political administration led by Liz Truss takes power? In a transformed world changed by the stratospheric gas prices now extant.

I put it to you that they will overturn the moratorium. And I ask you, what will that do to igas’ share price.

Get in now BEFORE this happens. Can’t you smell the money?

They didn’t move the share price though. It’s range bound.

What do you mean?

It boggles my mind that people held on so long, but that's human nature I guess. Hope springs eternal and no-one can bear to crystallise their loss. Now it is so depressed they no doubt feel isn't worth selling.

I'd be interested in getting back in at some stage, that's why I'm still here. If there is a reasonable punter's chance of survival. But not before the rights issue is out of the way obviously.

What's your strategy? Will you get back in do you think? And if so, when?

I believe the "greater fool theory" was created by a serious economist John Maynard Keynes.

He did exceptionally well in the markets, increasing the value of his Cambridge College's endowments several fold.

This is a a serious question. Not a message board nonsense.

If you look at my posting history you'll see that I have been a consistent bear since the court case loss, when I sold for a 20% or so haircut. It's been a sell since that date. Never rising as high as it was when the court case case started.

Much more recently, loolkng in at the carnage, I asked what the long case was now and no-one could provide one. Since then the stock has lost more than 50% of its value. price.

So I ask again. What;s the long case here? Why on earth is anyone still holding?

As others have said it all depends when you bought in. The stock market is 95% psychology. Companies which cause us to lose money are turkeys , those that make us money are little gems.

I first noticed this company in Shares Magazine. It was a tip of the year before the first profit warning. For whatever reason I didn't pull the trigger. Then there was the second and they doubled down. I still didn't get in for some reason, intuition? Luck?

Finally they caved in and sold on the armour review. That's when I bought my first holding, too early as it turned out.

Follow these tipsters at your own peril. In this case (it isn't always so) you needed to do exactly the opposite of Shares Magazine.

It's quiet now. Volume is drying up.

I like the action.

I was expecting a pull back which may still come of course.

Uddin is enthusiastic and a little OTT but his heart is in the right place, and above all, he's actually right. This is at historic lows since the company was in a quite a different situation, pre the rebrand. It is cash generative, has low debt, growing revenues, and is a tempting takeover target.

Above all, this board is NOT full of pumpers. Despite the price action which I am not a chartist but which screams of a price reversal, this is still not widely known. Even amongst institutions.

That's a very good thing a very bullish indicator. We're in at the start of this, early adopters, and there's much more to come. When the crowds start coming, pumping it to the skies, then will be the time to consider selling.
