Still no mention on the website of Mark Zonghetti’s departure from the company.
His linked in says he has been at Ghost Tequila for three months now. Just google his name and East Imperial and it comes up.
We don’t know why he left or who if anyone has replaced him in the key role of Head of US Sales. Silence from the company, which in itself is a sign of sloppiness and a culpable lack of professionalism.
But he must have had a high proportion of commission bonus in his package. Plus maybe stock options? If he left of his own volition it doesn’t indicate great confidence on his part that future revenues would pay him the big bucks in commission or a higher share price. Ghost Tequila offered him better financial prospects, or he’d have stayed.
If he was fired, what did he do wrong in US Sales, and what does that mean for the next results in this big growth area, with its new distributor deal and bottling plant?
Who is running US Sales now? No replacement has been announced yet he’s been working at another company for three months. Does that mean no-one’s been minding the shop since he left? Have they hired anyone else? If so when does he or she start?
I’m not a shareholder any more, but if I were that wouldn’t be good enough for me. They need to communicate what is going on.
