They were totally clear in the investor cast, there is no need for a placement before profitability is reached next year. They have more than enough cash.

BUT they also said that if things go well, and it is possible to accelerate, or maybe a better word would be to TURBOCHARGE revenue growth, then a placement would be the strategy to make the necessary investment.

As has been said that is a good thing!

So this announcement (in my view) is an indication that they are getting their ducks in a row. It doesn’t betoken an immediate placement , but it does mean that if they need further investment to fuel the exponential growth we all hope for, they’ll be ready.

This is a volatile, small cap stock. You have to get used to large swings on a short term basis. If that bothers you, don’t trade in the AIM market.

Because if you sell EISB on a down day like this, just before news, you’ll regret it.

This consolidation is necessary for the next leg up. A linear rise is not sustainable we need to catch our breath as we climb.

It’s all about the revenue growth. Such an exciting opportunity.

It’s the investment dream isn’t it? The fantasy, maybe. We all wish that we had got into Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla (and more to the point for us Fevertree) right at the start, to get the thousands per cent increase on an initial stake.

I am not saying EISB will be a second Amazon or Microsoft. BUT it can definitely, in the medium to long term become THE rival to Fevertree’s market dominance. A Pepsi to the established Coca Cola already in position. With room for both.

Imagine how a share price of 4 pence plus will look then! The opportunity is staggering..

I was pretty sure that they still did all their bottling in NZ, but someone seeming so authoritative made me wonder if I had that right.

As I understand it, after the US market, they plan to bottle in the UK for the EMEA market, right?
But that might be next year?

It all goes to show how exciting this is as an investment proposition. We are in at the beginning of a disrupter in the premium mixer space. A more than twenty billion dollar global market.

Fevertree has the largest US distributor. We have the second biggest. That speaks to the ambition here. We only need to get 10% of that market to have two billion in revenue. The potential is mind boggling…

It’s a long way from here, obviously. but we’re on the ground floor, the price now is crazy cheap.

In many ways I hope there ISN”T a bottling deal yet. Because an announcement of one should have a good impact on the share price because it so improves gross margin.

I was relying on a two month old investor call, which mentioned it as an upcoming action item.. Great news.

I’ve been adding over the past few days, and it has been steadily rising. I should have done it all in a few trades looking back, but the volume was low and I didn’t want to show my hand. It just got more expensive, day by day as I nickel and dimed it.

Not that my position is of any great size in the scheme of things!

What I like about this company is that it is below the radar. This message board is pretty quiet. That’s a great sign in my view. I hate overhyped stocks, although I do hope that we eventually get to that stage here, even though it will then be unbearable to read..

I see quite a few catalysts for the company in the short to medium term too. Obviously the interim results which we hope show some recovery in APAC and some first real results from the new US team. The US has to be a great potential growth market. Really it should overtake APAC. Look at all the five star hotels in the US!

They also need to bottle Stateside. An announcement of a bottling arrangement would do wonders for their margin, and should really be a driver for the share price.

It will also deal with some of the supply chain issues which have held them back during covid.

The share price tells the story.

Does anyone really think, if there weren’t serious issues here, and if an RNS were actually imminent, we would be having this kind of decline?

No it would be strong, on high volume. News would be leaking. There IS no news to leak.

Maybe this will eventually see an uptick, as they actually manage to achieve what they’ve been promising for months, and I’m watching. There is an opportunity here, I get it. But if it doesn’t it’s better to be on the sidelines.

As for this company, I’m in now, but cautious. The macro economic environment is very bad, and going to get worse, although I get that this is a growth stock play, and we are starting from a very low base, so exponential growth is very possible. Then as everyone says we have us a multi bagger…

It really depends on management. Have they got it in them to make this a success story?

I suppose my question would be, why haven’t they done more already? I realise that the last couple of years, with the pandemic, has been a train wreck. But this company was founded over ten years ago, right? Why so small still?

Watching that makes me think I’ll pass.

He’s dreadful! He inspires no confidence at all. Saying stuff like he expects gas to be produced and sold by 1st June, and if they are out it will be by a matter of hours…

Either he’s incompetent or deceitful.

It does make me think what a difference it would have made to the company if they had got it up and running by May/June. Two months or so of gas at these prices, no need to hedge the amount they have. A qualitative and quantitative difference to where we are now. And think about the stock price…

I’m not saying it was technically easy, but to be months behind schedule, not the “hours” he promised is pretty unforgivable. He looks to be out of his depth.

And you also wonder what technical problems remain. I mean what have they been doing at the field since April??

I’m tempted to take a position, I have to admit. If these really are serious tweets and we are actually close to such a huge breakthrough it seems rude not to.

BUT they have such a track record of promising this and never delivering! They give off such an air of being a company that hasn’t got a clue what it is doing…

And the new Lord Lucan inspires no confidence whatsoever.

I’ll watch the price action. That should be a good signal. If it’s really going well that ought to translate into share price strength.

He’s a belted Earl it’s true. But that doesn’t make him a gentleman. His own father disappeared off the face of the earth after George’s nanny was bludgeoned to death, never to be seen again.
I know that George can’t be held responsible for that, far from it, but it does go to shoe that being a Lord doesn’t make you a “gentleman.”

As for being a “genius” are you having a laugh? His career highlight before the Angus gig was flogging Muslim mortgages to rich Arabs, from what I can see.

I wish I could share your ebullience! For me, the financial markets are a grind, I have to admit. I’ve made more money than I’ve lost, quite a lot more, but it doesn’t feel like that. The losses hurt far more than pleasure gained from the winners. You have to be very emotionally resilient to shrug them off. Whereas you take profit as your due and totally for granted.

And many many times I’ve lost sleep over a position, always because it was too large. That was MY signal to sell down till I was comfortable with the amount of risk.

Good luck with Angus. I’m sceptical and cynical about the company and it’s CEO, I have to admit, he seems to over promise and under deliver, (to put it mildly!) so I’m sitting on my hands, neither long nor short. But I could be wrong, and you could be right, and make a lot of money here. In which case your profits will be richly deserved.

And if, as you say, you don’t get stressed by all this I envy you. I continue to find it extremely hard emotionally, and I’ve been doing it on quite a large scale for over two decades. (So you’d think it would get easier!). If you can just shrug it all off without a care in the world you are in a good, indeed healthy, position.

There’s an old adage on Wall Street “sell down to the sleeping point.”

If your position in Angus is losing you sleep you might consider unloading till you hold an amount that will let you do so. Only you can say wither that is all of your holding or just a part.

Your subconscious is troubling you, it’s a huge red flag. Your mind is telling you that the delays are explicable and the RNS will land this day of the next. But your gut senses danger. Why the delay? Is it a harbinger of disaster? Am I going to lose a lot of money?

Life is too short to get stressed by a stock holding, especially when it is so easy to end the stress by lightening the load.

Sell down to the sleeping point is a great adage. It concentrates the mind when our position is too large for comfort.

It’s a matter of time, and psychology.

You hold and you hold and you hold and you hold. And there’s nothing.

When do you admit you were wrong? Or don’t you?

For me it is a question of other opportunities. Do you have something more exciting? If so, you know what to do.

If not, why not hold?

As things stand we’re holding steady. nice that is no longer the case it’s a different matter.

But I don’t seen that here, yet.

But much longer? With no news just promises? It will come.

The frustration you feel will be universal with the the short term traders.

Then look out below. Best to be early, not late when traders get sick of waiting for news that never comes..

I’m not saying there won’t be an RNS some time announcing sales causing the stock to fly. There could be.

But THIS stuff is just palpable nonsense. The government is in purdah. The civil service is preventing any decisions that cost money until the new cabinet is formed as this one has no democratic mandate. There are no discussions in Number 10.

Or if there are (and once again this is a perfectly plausible proposition as the country needs gas storage facilities desperately) they won’t be decided on, let alone announced, until mid September at the very earliest.

Be honest. You know, I know, the whole board knows that this is just a distraction tactic while you wait for this supposedly imminent RNS.

Not at all. I’ve been in IGas for some time, in fact I took a bigger hit (more than than 20%) when the windfall tax was announced. I’d like to have sold at the recent peak but how often does that happen in real life, as opposed to message board braggadocio?
