It would seem we are waiting for the new Environment Minister to take up their post later this week. Then they will either extract a digit and get this moving or we'll experience further delays with silence from ARSO and Colin. If the government wants access to local gas then we'll see this move. Otherwise there's little Colin can do other than compression equipment on PG10 and PG11a and move on to bidding in Croatia.

I've always wavered with Colin. When he does well I'll praise him. When he does poorly I'll criticise. It's about the company and the SP / MCap.

I have received replies from Colin but he does seem to cherry pick the emails he replies to.

straightntrue, I would suggest you email Colin with that information and see what response you get. Doubt you'll get a response but you never know, he may have a conscience.

That's why I believe the major client have every intention of fulfilling the contract. They have experienced delays themselves and the payment delays then become an unintentional consequence.

So if the potential farmout company knows 88E don't have the ability to take the whole project forward maybe they are offering below the figure 88E may want? They can persuade 88E to accept by saying they know 88E can't deal with it on their own and need the bigger company. For 88E to refuse would put them in a difficult position, as they cant take it forward on their own.

The share price rose rapidly to 8p+ and became out of their reach. It's possible Colin was not unhappy at that as he may have then been out of a job. That's the disadvantage of a CEO not having a substantial investment in their own company. They won't profit from the increase in the SP if a sale of the company transpires. So the conspiracy theorists may have a point. Colin doesn't help himself, or the rest of us.

My understanding is the 'defaulting' of the major client was largely due to their constructing of a new plant for a proprietary new process to deal with even more magnetite than before. It would seem the usual delays in planning permissions and construction have probably led to this delay in payments to SMG (SML). Hence my placing the word 'default' in quotes as I do not believe it was an intentional delay on the part of the major client. It was just the often occurring delays in that process of planning and construction.

The next General Election will be very interesting. The end of so many 'safe seats'.

I can understand the concern. The farmout was 'scheduled' to be dealt with in the first quarter. Hence the fall back in the SP. The market knows best. Some fingers need to be extracted.

With that spread only the MMs will be making a profit.

Just come across the end of a programme on 'Quest' channel where a compressor was being fitted under the North Sea to improve the output from a North Sea gas field. That was 300 metres under the North Sea. The fitting of equipment at Petisovci, on land, will be relatively straight forward in comparison. It will currently be on Quest +1.
