With known gas in the ground and ten wells already drilled AST should have been a no brainer, up until the Slovene government got involved in preventing the efficient extraction of gas at Petisovci. Anyone would think they don't want their own supply of gas.

I would suggest you did a little research Nickel. They certainly are building cash. They have other Cobre clients and Leigh Creek is starting to earn income. Any lender would be happy to provide short term funds for SML.

Negotiated contracts are only worth the paper they are written on if both sides abide by the contract. JP will have to ensure any contract with the major client is water tight with enforceable penalty clauses. They have proved to be unreliable and need to be treated on a legalistic level. Hand shake agreements can not be relied on with this client. Once bitten ...

The major client has been unreliable where funds have been owed. The logical conclusion would be funds needing to come from somewhere else to pay for the 50% share of Redmoor. If it came to it this is a company that I would happily be involved with for a placing for such a reason. It shouldn't be necessary but when clients are so unreliable with their payments it can become necessary.

SML have a good relationship with NAE and should retain it. This is not only a good stable company with income but it's also a reliable company. Reputation is important. And the major client is in danger of getting a bad one.

It never ceases to amaze me how companies feel they can delay payments past agreed deadlines. So many small businesses suffer from this where funds are owed by an agreed date and then it doesn't happen. JP has it in hand but it's difficult for him when the major client is needed for income to SML.

However I believe Colin is keeping quiet because of the environmental lobby and their continual twisting of the facts. 'Fracking' anybody? In fact he has emailed me in the past to say he can not say too much because of the environmental lobby.

There's a change in Environment Minister this week. We can not expect any progress until that has happened. Colin can not expect anything until after that change. We are completely dependent on the new Minister and what they do.
