as we can be buying and selling at any point in time, the only way is clawing back tax. Future divs cannot be automatically be paid as gross as we may not even hold the shares at that point in time.

Thank you to three that answered. I can see it’s a long process especially as it requires HMRC to stamp the form.

Getting II to issue evidence may also be a snag. As far as HMRC and the Irish Tax people are concerned, it’s only dependent on my tax domicile status. Think I have this right.

I have GRP divs as well, so it mounts up.

I naively bought without an awareness of this issue.

Your dividend is Irish taxed so not the stated net dividend by some.

Just opened an account with them. I find the web site web site quite unfriendly if you only wish to concentrate on UK stocks only. Can the opening sheet be changed from US stocks?

Once apron a time this Company was deemed to have a very low cost per barrel base.

IMHO the impression given to institutions is that this company is here purely to pay OAP’s a nice dividend rather than becoming a high growth organisation. Maybe this market is saturated with companies offering the same products, so growth is difficult to come by.

Roxi. Yes I stand corrected. They were required to hedge for RBL. This was the banks requirement and not Company policy. JSE a will not consider hedging of their own free will.

I think it would be good to hedge whilst this $80 market exists.

Regards RBL hedging, JSE a would have been more quids in without the hedge. Do you agree?

As restrictive shares have been awarded over a three year period, it suggests that Tyrus have not asked the BoD to sell the Company. Get the house in order is clearly the objective as stated in the update. I believe them!
