Bearing in mind that both you and have been serial followers of this fantastic Company for a long time, it shows that it is so easy to get emotionally attached to shares like TMMG and to forget that taking profits at the right time is the name of the game.
12 months ago, despite solid year on year progress, the share price was still languishing around 40p. It was hard to imagine we would get here other than by a sudden takeover bid.
You and I stuck in here and I know, despite this short term opportunity to sell and buy back in, we are both delighted with the price improvement.
What next? New incentive scheme set at 150p or implement the exit strategy!

I can understand JW not wanting to spend every month writing reports. We want him to get on with the job of "creating shareholder value" ...... A lovely AIM phrase ............. But Nathan could write a simple monthly update without wasting his time either.

I was surprised how many were at the AGM. Some AGM's are lucky if they see one PI.
Despite the uncomfortable moments for the BoD, I hope they recognise that a lot of PI's do care how their investment is being "looked after"!

JW was too polite in accepting questions throughout his presentation. If he has said can you all wait, i think the floor would have accepted that. Instead it was GC who tried to get some order, however in what seemed to me in a rather arrogant manner.
Bearing in mind what a successful year they have had, all bar JW looked pretty miserable in front of us. Why not smile a bit even if you are being bombarded by PI questions. It's like they are not comfortable positive people ........ Not good.
As for GC slumped on his chair as if ....... Lets get out of here.... Poor show.

Can any one who has attended previous AGM's tell me whether the BoD spend time after the meeting allowing informal chat?
Who has an opinion about whether it is best to rock the boat with voting and awkward aob questions and forget informal niceties whereapon the BoD may decide to ignore the vocal b******.

The remuneration rewards are not related in share price movement. This is a severe failing of PLC status companies. Legislation change is needed but that will never happen.
Unless PI's here can get some institutional support to push this BoD, there is no incentive on the share price front. JW's salary and bonus paid through his lifetime far outweighs even his exit value from shareholdings. So why should he care so long as the profit is adequate to pay his salary.
I unwisely invested in GBP because their $20m cash pile was more than the market value. Their directors own the majority of their shares, so with that control they have paid salaries year on year for promises and little action. Look at the cash left now.
The only amunition we have is by collective stirring the shit at AGM's and the like.

I do not know the history here. Was RH on his own in his criticism of the BoD? At EME the PI's were significant enough to influence AGM / EGM outcomes and TK had to take note, despite his natural arrogance. The BoD here are so much like EME. OMHO
It is clear, as mentioned earlier, that the financially produced information could do with some improvement. IMHO

The results for 2018 "cannot fail" to impress. Average oil price for the last 6 months of 2018 compare very favourably with 1st 6 months. Output peaked mid year and tailed off in late year, for very good reasons and will recover and improve. So second half should be as good as interims. What is not to like. The institutional investors should be happy.
Us PI's are generally never happy (just joshing).
Oil price is good now after a short xmas blip.
If we get production up sufficiently to beat 2018, then this years results may show further turnover and profit improvement. This is important if only to show accountants (f*** them I was one) what they want to see.
So This is a good price and I have just bought a further 50k.

I suppose i should have sold on the basis of my guess. But like many here, we are too immersed in the detail of the whole picture which we all know should bear fruit long term. Share price movements are a joke (well i've just had £7k wiped off my core holding) but it's reality. What is crazy is that this drill cost less than $5m for AMER out of a cash balance of $40-50m. If thay had not done this drill we would still be valued at £200+ mkt cap. Instead we loose £25m off the mkt cap for chucking away $5m. Does this make sense?

Firstly this well result is not big news for ONGC Videsh therefore who knows if it even warrants an announcement by them. AMER cannot announce anything without their say so. If a large oil play was hit, it would have quite possibly have been announced ages ago. With all other scenarios i imagine that making a very clear interpretation of what this exploration drill has found in relation to the whole CPO-5 play could take a very long time. Saying that its a duster only would be a load of crap. So i just hope AMER management have benn spending time working on those projects they have control over, rather than twiddling their thumbs just like us load of gamblers (was going to say morons like Gordon).
So its a duster with loads of valuable data. Get real everyone. Just my opinion.

Unless the significant shareholders have finished their exit strategies, the only share movement likely in this small aim share is going to be from us share chat fanatics (lse/adfvn/ii etc) who have short term profit objectives. We are the only ones who are going to scrabble buying and selling when the well result is announced. Should be exciting with the gains and losses each of us might have. Wouldn't it be nice to know what proportion of our liquid funds are in here or in cash.
Clearly this share price is going nowhere with these volumes.
I wonder how many trades we will get on well result day! My guess is 25m.

This seems to be a signed memorandum of understanding done in last December, not reported by AMER as an RNS, but mentioned as being a plan to increase OBA throughput.
We presumably are still waiting for Ministry of Mines & Energy approval, anticipated H1.
This must be an RNS to be expected as it is material, IMO.

Well done Wolster, it's nice to have an honest comment about day trading. Not many here will admit to doing this regularly. We are all in it for profit. Not because we like JW's wig, if he has one that is.
