I have, like many others i hope, have sent my email to AMER asking them how they consider this offer acceptable after the earlier offer was rejected for being seriuosly undervalued. It deserves an answer even if its bull****.

Forgot to say. Irony is that i will be voting against this deal.

Just bought 80k at 18.88p incl fees and reckon 4 months will see this out with £280 profit.
Safe investment in my wife's isa, which i promised could make more than her banks 1%.
At the moment I cannot feel comfortable about the stock market.

So the earlier bid of 17p seriously undervalues the company. Well 19.2 sorted that one.

If Aramco go ahead with this flotation, I would have thought OPEC will attempt to maintain oil price stability to get this deal completed.

Also if you really think ENQ will survive for the forseeable future, then a great return is to be got with ENQ1 bonds expiring Apr 2022.

Yes i agree that net debt is the issue, but if someone buys AMER at $500m they have added debt of $450m to their books for 6000bpd + 22m P2 plus enexplored acreage and CP05 upside. GTE Have 150m P2 and 36000bpd with unexplored acreage as well.
If Colombian acreage is in demand, then GTE has as much, if not more, upside potential than AMER.

Having read the rns again, it is explained that a more conservative approach has been taken on the life of the field. This is utter professional assessor b....... as there should be only one way to value reserves. This type of value judgement stinks. They are paid to assess with all things considered. What a waste of money having reports of this nature. F...... B....... ! IMHO

Vicki Hollub sounds the real deal from watching some interviews. They make oil and gas seem like its the in thing, clearly here to stay despite all the media talk of green.
Though no significant bid value will be put on our acreage, that's where the gold nugget lies.
Big companies can exploit that very quickly, unlike us. However i say well done to JW for his, as my dear dad always said, " slowly slowly catchee monkey" approach!
In today's pc world one would worry that this saying was very non pc!!!!!!!!! But seems ok wheni read up on it.

Clearly the parts have more value to existing partners than to anyone else. My take is that the BoD would like an internal breakup rather than an aggressive outsider getting it on the cheap just to do that.
IMHO either nothing will happen and the BoD carry on taking their huge salaries or they will sell the best bits to our partners and make a capital reduction payment to shareholders then keep enough to fund 100% owned acreage.

The agm presentation document shows the value the bod put on this company. Since then they have done nothing to change that. Rock bottom value created of $367m.
IMHO $500m is what the bod would expect as a minimum which equates to 33p approx. Stifel at 37p is not a lot different.
Bod will not recommend anything less. What a majority vote would accept is a totally different matter.
I am not sure of the mechanics with offers made. Can anyone enlighten me?
Clearly there is little opportunity to buy up stock at low prices ..... I think ...... To force a sale.
I cannot understand how so many shares changed hands after this announcement. Who would sell at these crazy low prices ....... Beats me. Heho monday here we come.
