Good point, Alert. The focus has to be on Zulu... there is more than enough to be doing now without being distracted by other stuff. Even if there is a sale of Zulu, there will be more than enough to be done on the EPO area. Plus there is whatever other minerals are in the ground... can't wait to hear about this.

Meant to add though that I don't think the sp is going to be held back due to talk of RHA.

Johnny/Bick/Welshy - I agree wholeheartedly. Whether it is RHA or MNH or 40 other prospects outside the EPO area, leave them be.
My only concession to that is that if the market cap hits £200m or £300m later this year, we can afford to put a few million their way.

Just catching up - good RNS and good interview... best that he's done in years! Appointment of a COO shows any potential bidder that Prem is serious about going it alone on Zulu! Seems to be growing interest in Zulu which is great. An exciting year ahead, indeed!
I find myself asking what PREM will be worth in a year's time if Zulu alone is valued at $400-$500 million - what value could be placed on the EPO area?

I can't see GR doing an interview about anything negative or just about the appointment of a COO - there would have to be something else.

I doubt if he has done an interview about receiving assay results - unless, they are very good or there is some concrete news about the amount of resource in the ground.

I think it is possibly something bigger.

Could GR finally be stepping down?

Has he got a deal for DFS and the financing of the mine?

Will we finally get to the tipping point?

Excuse my ignorance but what's due to happen on 14th Jan? I'm fully expecting a major re-rate this month but the 14th Jan significance seems to have passed me by!

@AlertRNS - absolutely.

Last Feb/Mar, volume and the sp started to move up significantly a month before the official news was released. Prior to that, there were a few isolated days where volume increased without the sp moving. The EPO was expected at some point and there were a few who seemed to be in the know from the beginning of Jan 2021, I'd suggest. This time round, I think we'll see less of a lead in (a few days?) and that the sp will move sharply and quickly... although some of the recent buys signal that some folk are much more confident that some big news will come very soon. Along with Acker and Snowking, I'm currently very bullish about PREM and if recent deals are anything to go by, we should be very surprised... I'd rather have had the DFS done 4 years ago but it appears that all the stars are aligning over PREM in the next few months!

I agree M_Night - lithium will be the primary mineral for some time yet... 10-15 years.

The focus is clearly on EV's just now but I reckon that we'll see a prevalence of batteries for homes in the next few years. There's a double whammy of the climate impact and price of gas... it's not hard to see that Li has a bright future!

Looks like Snowking is going to have a gigaplant on his doorstep producing 300,000 batteries a year. CNBC just interviewed British Volt about their plans to build a factory in Northumberland. I wonder where they'll get their lithium from!

Bick - I'm leaning more and more to an outright sale of Zulu or sell a majority stake. Potential bidders won't have GR meddling in their affairs!

To follow up on my post late last night... the assay results will confirm that there is Li in the ground and what grade it is... because there is so much distrust of GR, independent validation is critical. Potential partners will need some of these results to be published before they're prepared to bid... remember, there are a number of firms doing or have done DD on Zulu - firms don't do this unless they're considering bidding. I reckon that there are a lot of PI's sitting on the sidelines waiting for these results before they invest too.
As the results flow (and as the price of Li continues it's rise?), potential bidders will move and I reckon it will be sooner rather than later... who knows, GR may well be sitting with some offers now.
As for the power battle - the West won't want to leave the Chinese to hoover up Li resource. The last two years have shown how our dependence on the Chinese for anything and everything has been a huge mistake. Look at how Putin has found a way to make us all pay through higher energy prices. Securing supply of key resources is becoming more and more important... we live in interesting times!

Acker - I'm with you. Serious re-rate in the next qtr. Assay results will drive this initially then I expect multiple bids... certainly Zulu will be bid for and, perhaps, a bid for the post EPO area even. It's not just money and profit at stake... there's an economic/geopolitical power battle going on.

A question in my mind is whether GR will be willing to sell all of Zulu... I reckon any potential partner will not want to have GR having a say so I expect most bids will be to purchase all of Zulu (original area) or a majority stake.

It's looking a whole lot better now than ever before - I'd partially agree with Acker that we should see 1p by April. That still only values Prem at £200m... in the context of having a deal in the next few months, with more certainty about the pre-EPO area and some info about the post-EPO area then I'd hope that we'd be sitting well above that. What if someone wants to buy out all of PREM - what value could be put on it... £400m, £500m, £800m?
These are very interesting days... anything can happen!!!

The current environment screams that a deal will be done and at a price that will be good for holders... looks like Li prices will continue to rise and potential suitors will need to secure supply... it's not just the Chinese! Security of supply is existential for battery makers, etc. so I don't doubt that GR will have some very attractive offers to assess. His difficulty may well be assessing offers for the DFS and mine against offers for buying out Zulu altogether.

Apart from MNH being clarified, the key drivers for the sp are assay results and potential deals. News on a COO would be good but my own view is that, regardless of that, GR will be sidelined when a deal is done... with corporates coming on board, GR can't survive.
I'm no scientist but Omicron looks less serious... so the recovery and shift to EV's comes forward again... demand for li comes forward again.
Beyond Q1, things become more interesting - I think it was Tedoby who explained that the other potential minerals at Zulu could be as big a money spinner as li.
Yes, this is all caveated by the possibility of GR messing it up but, today, I'm optimistic about Q1.

Just watched the video and, yes, GR is probably as enthusiastic as I've ever seen him. First of all, a thank you to GR for a bit of a year-end update!

I really like that the lab has re-opened... which is great news... and lots of interest in Zulu too. He looks convinced that a deal will be done soon (January?).
If he's talking about not being able to resist an offer then I think that it's as good as saying he's had sight of at least one good, acceptable offer.

Omicron doesn't look as if it will be as devastating as the Delta variant so next year is looking as if we can start getting back to a better normality. If GR can deliver too then I'll be very chuffed indeed!

The pick up will start once we start getting more grade results, i.e. once the lab re-opens. Some signs that South Africa wave is beginning to wane so the lab might be open sooner rather than later.
