Anyways, Johnny, I'm reading that the appointment of the COO will make a big difference.

Acker, could be fireworks ahead. You and I know that the big prize is the EPO area... those companies who have been shunned will be knocking on GR's door again. There's still plenty to play for... all we've seen is the 1st play in the 1st quarter (American football reference for anyone who is wondering what I'm talking about).

Lots of positives from yesterday's announcement and I'd repeat again that for anyone other than the day traders, the RNS listed a few things that we've been waiting for... assay results seem to exceed expectations plus confirmation that there is Lithium in the step out zones and not to mention the Heads of terms.
One other aspect which might seem minor compared to the above is the engagement of 3 companies to assist plus 3 more drills. I think that this is the first time where we've seen a step up in activity and the approach. Could this be the influence of the COO and/or the preferred partner? Either way, it is a positive signal that GR is pulling his finger out and getting on with the job... this is significant in my view.
Now we wait for news of the deal... I think that it might happen quickly but I do think that the prize here is too big for other interested parties to walk away. We've got an interesting few days and weeks ahead!

Neil Herbert, our chairman, is also chairman of Atlantic Lithium, formerly Ironridge. This is the deal he got done to fund Ewoyaa in Ghana - http://ir.q4europe.com/Tools/newsArticleHTML.aspx?solutionID=3674&customerKey=IronRidge&storyID=15109346 with Piedmont (Nasdaq listed). Has he lined up a similar deal for Zulu with Piedmont?

It's a difficult call, Bick but I think that it is too hot an asset for interested parties to walk away and give up on it. In fact, I think GR's singling out of one party might increase the possibility of getting a hostile offer for the whole of Prem... now that would be really interesting.

I added more after the RNS, Snowking... if anyone is in Prem for the big pay day (rather than trading), the RNS is very good news indeed!

Let the dust settle and those sellers will be back. What we wanted was good assay results and we've got them. What we wanted was news of a deal and we've got that news. There will be a few upset interested parties... it will be very interesting to see what happens next... contrary to Bick's concerns, I think that this approach will provoke others to up their game!

I'm a long term critic of GR but I think the RNS is very good and the timing is fine. The sp will bounce back because it is very clear (look at those assay results!) that the Lithium is there!

There are plenty investors/companies/funds out there who will be looking at Prem now. There are 12-14 potential partners who might be taking a small stake (2.99%). Buying will continue this week imho!

There's also a realisation that GR might well need to do a much bigger deal than he was anticipating which will include an acceleration of work on the EPO area. Everything is shaping up very nicely!

A realisation that Prem is way undervalued - assay results on their way and potential suitors are lining up including some big Chinese companies!

Yes Bick - this is where GR should be capitalising on the momentum and where his board and advisers should be earning their bucks. If we get that kind of RNS then we're heading to 0.5 plus BEFORE any other significant RNS is published!

Good point Newbee007 - the rise gives GR an opportunity to issue an RNS to say that he acknowledges the rise and that negotiations are underway, etc, etc.

Have to say that I had a pretty naff start to the day. Mrs Steward1's car wouldn't start so she took my car to work (she's a nurse) and I've had to sort out getting our local garage round. They were here 15 mins after calling and the car's now with them to get a new battery today. They're just the wee local garage and they're brilliant... top blokes. The Prem sp increase today has cheered me up and Mrs Steward1 may well be getting a brand new EV later this year!

It would be ironic if GR gets in to a position in the next 12 months to buy the remainder of Circum..... LOL!!!!!

Yes Acker - whilst a deal could be done without that news, I'd much prefer it to be published first and that he goes in to final negotiations with a much higher sp. I can't see how he could do an RNS without referring to the interest from potential partners though. I'm sure that he'll do another interview so we might hear about that before the next RNS.
I just wouldn't be surprised if we get the deal announced first, though. My strong, strong preference is for Prem to give up 51% of Zulu now.

Mafs - news could drop anytime this week or next. It is expected to be major news and some of us old timers expect the sp to multiply on the news!

Aimisaluagh - if there was no substance to the rise, I might agree with you. News could drop anytime and Prem is notoriously leaky. I expect that there will be a leak of some sort before the official news drops.

iky786 - I've always found Acker to be totally upfront about his views and his approach. He can answer for himself but I'm sure most of us who have been involved here for a few years have thought that Prem would come good one day. Has that day arrived? Well it's looking good but news in the next week or two will see us up closer to 1p. We've not seen anything yet!
