Chris, you shouldn't be asking that question on a board mainly populated with shareholders. What do you expect them to say..No stay well clear ?? of course not.
I'm personally hoping for £40 +. But what do I know. I have a bad track record !
I suspect the new brokers have been quietly advising their clients to start buying. Once they have loaded up we may see the broker notes appear with fair value estimates far higher than said clients have been buying at. So maybe a steady rise to well over £10, then broker notes saying something like £15-20
Why are NCYT so good? They have been proven to have the technical expertise AND the management to become highly successful first movers in the field of Covid diagnostics. This has generated £millions in revenue which is set to accelerate. They are basically making money hand over fist. What is particularly impressive is how they tell us what they are going to do, and then deliver ON time. They have no debt and £millions in the bank. Their financial resources give them the clout to continue to innovate rapidly. What is equally impressive is how they are continually responding to the needs of customers. The French wanted a 2 gene test and they delivered. The NHS want a test to differentiate between Covid and Flu and they delivered.
No, shareholders will have no say what so ever. Most likely FRR will go bust. Small chance of a buyout, but we may still get nothing out of that. Minute chance of getting any money back, but possible, IMO.
I would doubt it. They have published what is going to be voted on. How can someone give a proxy vote based of the published items only to find their votes are being used for other purposes.
Yes very positive. I tend to agree a re rate is on the cards and institutional buyers coming in(French and British)
Can't really see why one would need TWO high powered teams if it was for acquisitions or a take over. Surely one would be fine in that instance. be perfectly adequate for that.
Who knows how this will end. I am personally not optimistic. Losing a director with a lot of skin in the game opens the door for new management who aren't aligned with existing shareholders. I had a large holding in GKP. Very similar scenario. Large asset(huge oil reserve), large debt, and disruptive regime(Iraqi). Shareholders ended up with a 95% loss after the new management came in.
Good luck with the job RR. Hope that works out for you. You were bound to get pilloried for such a vague post with no substantiation when people are desperate for some concrete positive news/information. So come on , you don't have to reveal sources, but give us a bit more detail on what you have heard. Is it REALLY a credible source, and what are they saying?
I am slightly sighing in resignation, but can't help but ask, 1 Is it REALLY a credible source? 2 Does the positive outcome you suggest rely on a NEW government other that the GD party being still being in power post elections?
RE: Closing Price for the Week Ahead Anybody?20 Sep 2020 19:05
I'd be surprised if we don't see £5 by next Friday. Sentiment has changed . Testing is where it is at right now. The bulls are returning. BUT more importantly NCYT is VERY nicely positioned to take advantage. 1 Making money hand over fist. With good visibility until next year. 2 Tons of news imminent for even MORE revenue ! 3 Appointment of Numis. (Have they been employed to pave the way for a re-rate and move to the main market and institutional buying. AND also advise on the proposed acquisition trail ?
There is a lot going on. p.s. No talk of takeover right now but you got to think NCYT are low hanging fruit for a major who wants to broaden their Diagnostics portfolio
Yes, he can do whatever he wants, but make it plain it is a personal thing or as part of and on behalf of a VERY small group of shareholders. He would surely NOT be acting with a mandate from all or a significantly large number of shareholders. I would personally say that you are unlikely to get a response, but potentially generate even more negative PR against the company you are hoping to come good.

For me the telling event lately was the appointment of the 2nd broker. Can't wait for their analysis. Are they going to value the company at anywhere near todays price ???? No of course not. I can see the sp having a steady rise from now. Could see a £4.20 finish going into the weekend
