I should think if too many people have stop losses the market makers will hunt them down in a volatile stock like NCYT.
There job is to make a market. If not much is happening and the stock is trading pretty flat the market makers might target
stop losses as they would no doubt be able to find buyers at that discounted price.

I don't think Zaza will be particularly impressed with the announcement. He has always maintained that GG had no legal right to terminate the 1%.
If they had said , "yes actually on reflection we had no right to threaten to do that", rather than suggesting they chose to do us a "great" favour by not cancelling it might have sounded a bit more conciliatory.
I still struggle to see a SM wanting to get involved here with only 7 years left on the PSA and the current regime as it is. Can we struggle on by until after the October elections, will the next incumbents be any better?

On a 3 x revenue valuation gives a sp of £8.36. I guess the market just doesn't think those kinds of revenue streams are sustainable.

I had quite a few shares in GKP. Not to disimilar. Large asset, tricky political situation, large debt.
We ended up losing 95% of the value of our shares.

The crux of the argument really comes down to this bit:

I'm still not getting it !? I thought Arbitration was about a balanced view of what was fair between parties.

The Arbitration panel deemed that there should be no award of lost of earnings( 2 years delay of handing back the 99%) to GG because of their lack of history of re-tendering blocks. Surely this suggests the 99% land had little immediate value. But the Arbitration panel would appear to sanction, this failure to relinquish on a timely basis some land that had effectively no immediate value, the GG to grab THE valuable(1%) areas.
