Europe have cut their interest rates.

Have we reached a new bottom as the share keeps hovering around £14.80’s and with the dividend date looming people will still want that even if it is low.

Just. £80k of buys and £14k of sales and the share only rises 0.05p. Looks like buys don’t lift this share anymore

That’s over 4 billion shares not the price of them!

Over £4billion have been re purchased through share buy backs and apart from saving the company a fortune in dividends it seems this is proper proof buybacks have no benefit to an investor?

Scoredagain. i didnt see the bid price anywhere near 1.04p yesterday as I sold at 1.03p bid price and the best I saw was just over 1.04p to buy. I never saw the bid price over 1.032p.

I figured after the dividend drop and the drop with people selling before ex day and this share will be at 90p again very quickly.

Isn’t this move the exact way other firms have got into trouble, buying another firm in a time when your own profits/sales are down?

The rises and falls don’t makes sense with the amount people are trading, today it drops 0.03 of a penny on £16k of sales but two days ago it only rose 0.02p with buys of more than £60k over the total sales prices.

Denby, Even bad tradesmen, too many have left the sector thru poor wages and just getting older.

The worst thing is you can’t even think about trading it unless you’re good at charting as news could land anytime and change the share price in a moment.

Let’s hope so, it wasn’t that long ago where I was thinking I was going to loose all the money in these as I would of rather lost it than sell at a really low price.

Deep pockets usually refers to people who don’t want to spend their money.

CPI data out on Wednesday so if positive this should rise but I think we all know what will happen if it’s not.

Be nice if there is something to kick start the market off this year. People don’t realise how many other places we’d house sales to increase their business! Carpet factory’s, house wares, furniture shops and cafes as if more houses are built other businesses prosper as well as it’s not just the house builders also the tradesmen can get more work as it’s quiet at the moment.

Lile, I don’t think we will ever see dividends like they used to pay with dean finch at the helm but I do think getting to £1.60 in time is possible, I’m expecting next years dividend to be about 80p if they are building more houses. It’s not much but baby steps.

It goes ex in about three weeks and even though the dividend isnt much lets hope this is a constant rise towards that day.
