Dividendchaser, in a years time I could also double my money in BP & RDSB as I was just topping my investments up. if I waited much longer for Lloyd's to resume a dividend I would of missed the lows of big oil.

Sold all mine at 35p on Friday and I have spent the money in RDSB and BP as they are both paying dividends and in a long term hold I think they will be better than Lloyds?

As I have said before a rights issue doesn’t bother me. look at rolls Royce, their rights issue was about 37p and it’s over a pound now.
Sucks if you bought in before the crash but since I didn’t a rights issue only gives me lots more cheap shares that I will sell sooner than later.

If a 14p dividend returns in say two years time, buying at these prices gives something like a 35% dividend return.

I only have a small investment in card as I was in for a double of my money then sell to buy something else but I then started looking at the share price history and its dividend and its pretty good. Was card already in a decline in price or is it covid which has dragged it down?

I know its no moonpig but it has potential to develop a similar business model? I'm tempted to go bigger on this stock especially at these prices as it looks like a proper long term hold which makes no difference to me.

What's peoples opinion of this stock on a long term hold?

With making that much money today I'm surprised your not planning your retirement now.

When I saw it drop to nearly your range today I sold some Lloyd's shares and topped this up. its already rising nicely to hopefully finish above your days High.

I'm still topping up at these prices, my average can't stay low forever as I always planned to re invest all my dividends.

RDSB is 1420 so both shares aren't that far away? I think more people want to hold shell longer? I hold both but think RDSB will be the better share in the long term?

Skiing would be fun but with cruciate ligament damage in both knees its sort of the question for me. I like to holiday in the Caribbean or the USA at Xmas time as I'm always off work and I like to dive. I always enjoy diving on Xmas day then relaxing with a few drinks by the pool after that.

if you took up the rights for IAG you got lots of shares for 84p which dragged your price to the terp and then there was lots of 90p topping up times.

I'm more than happy to be part of a rights issue as it just means more cheap shares and a lower exit price.

Persimmon is top of my stocks as I work for them and know how well they generate cash. They are a money making machine with lots of spare cash and an excellent dividend and I bet they are about £40 in a few years time. I feel more confident holding shares in Persimmon than RDSB.

Persimmon and Aviva, these are the two main stocks I plan to top up this year with my dividends.

With most things shut down it will be no surprise if they say we are in another recession. People still have money due to government support.

Put my pride to one side and topped up today, I had the money in my account last week for another share but decided it’s better spent in here?
