Anal Beard, you do realise trolling isn't remotely attractive? It's beneath childish. Heaven knows what your agenda is, but I would recommend you get treatment for your mental state. So many people these days are suffering mental issues and it's obvious you're one of those people. Get help, speak to your mom and dad, they will be able to help you get the treatment you need kid.

Jiffy. Fuel duty is about 53p per litre plus VAT. Then there is VAT on the remaining amount. Most of the higher costs at the moment are greedy producers. Upon the announcement by Shell of huge profits, the Shell garage by me put the price up 6p per litre. They claim their larger than usual profits are due to the fuel crisis. They should be forced by the government to relieve the burden on us, but they won't. Another case of the rich protecting the rich.

Jiffy, it's about £10 a litre. Then I suppose that's how all of these things are when they first emerge. Mind you, there is probably more chance of conventional fossil fuel petrol getting to £10 a litre in the mean time lol.

Unless there is a new way of generating electricity, then I don't see electric vehicles becoming mainstream, lets face it, they are not clean. The battery production is filthy and they currently run on gas, coal and a bit of wind with sprinkles of nuclear. Then of course, if everyone has one, the government will suddenly realise they are bad and need to be heavily taxed, just as they did in the past.

Not sure diesel has a future at all. I currently drive a powerful petrol car, but nothing beats the torque of a diesel.

The latest synthetic fuel doesn't come from oil. It's made from CO2 from the atmosphere and hydrogen from water.

Gazzle. Yes, it's coming back to me now.

I suppose this is the downside to being invested in great companies by proxy. The middle man (BLU) is under no obligation to inform the market. We're left to find out ourselves. However, as we've experienced last week, even when this info is presented to others, they don't get it's relevance (Amplitude auction). They understand things like the Dynasty sale / IPO because it's not technical jargon, but that doesn't help the share price on our other investments.

We really need to push for updates from BLU on a regular basis, maybe monthly, rather than twice yearly.

What I was getting at Gazzle is that if DL is paid in shares (which I think I've heard) it would make good sense for him to be as quiet as he can if he's paid in share value. Then, boom! When his exit is right, he sings like a song bird all the praises of BLU and it's investee companies. Maybe I'm just being cynical...
