Hopefully half year results due imminently with delicious information regarding how well our investee businesses are doing will prevent that.

Bowlers - Markets open again on Monday. You could sell up, or you could wait a few more days and have some news from the BOD in the mid year update RNS due. There should be some tasty information regarding the investee companies we value.

I have my suspicions as to why the BOD are quiet, but that's another thing.

Unfortunately, this is one of those shares that as private investors in an investment company, we are only fed info when there is a legal requirement to do so. We are invested by proxy (for want of a better way of putting it) in the juicy stuff. That said, we have a great team of private investors on this board doing lots of research and giving us clues as to how great a share this is to be invested in. If I were you, I'd be looking to buy as many shares as you can afford in BLU, as when the time is right for the BOD to break silence, you'll be smiling [alot]. That's just my opinion of course, but one shared by quite a few here.

Hopefully we will get some detailed information regarding progress of investees in the half your results due in the next 7 days.

I'm not sure if Derek is paid in shares to a certain value or a certain amount of shares, but if it's the former, then that might explain the lack of info that would otherwise boost the share price. He'll be waiting for "his time" not ours.

We are due a half year report within the next two weeks. It would be good if we could get updates on everything that is going on. We assume that the BLU board have been following all of the Pendulum news emerging. It would be nice to see this reported in the half year report, along with some estimations of future valuation should all fall in to place.

With different things progressing at different rates (especially Pendulum) quarterly interim shareholder reporting would be very welcome.

Absolutely agree viera. She's being played. I've thought this for a while and all the time TRx are getting free work at our expense.

She needs to pull the plug at the end of June and stick to her word. Unless, say payment for the work carried out so far is paid as a gesture of trust in exchange for a minor extension.

Some sort of announcement would be nice. I would build a little trust that FG is dedicated financially to QBT.
On AIM lots of companies keep costs low by giving shares to their directors / staff as pay. Who then subsequently sell those shares, basically taking investors money out of the company (our money).

There are good and bad sides to the value of BTC (depending who you are). For most miners, the high energy cost compared to the reward may make them back off. The positive to this is that there are less miners chasing BTC, meaning that BTC is easier to mine for those still willing to plough the energy cost in. QBT could capitalise on this situation even further, as we use less energy as we're faster, with less competition. BTC value is low and there will be less miners chasing the rewards. All we have to do is mine away, relatively unchallenged and hold on to those lovely Bitcoins until they are back up in value. Low BTC price is a win win situation for us.

All we need now, is for FG to tell us this is possible and he's producing results. Theory now needs to become reality.

Plutuq - Yes, I agree. It's an unusual situation, we are investors in these companies by proxy. BLU are the investment business using our money. So while they (BLU) are getting the news, we are left to our own devices to establish how good our own investments are doing.

I suppose the one improvement the BLU board could make would be to have regular shareholder updates, outlining the progress investee companies have made and how this may impact our investments. Maybe bimonthly updates would stop the rollercoaster share price we're experiencing. Clearly some sellers have no idea of what they've invested in if they are willing to sell at this low price. These updates would clear that confusion.

I rarely comment on VAL, but the RNS today, really doesn't tell us much that we didn't already know or suspect. If there is a placing, there is a placing and from that slight setback, VAL still has a future with growth potential.

One comment I would make regarding TheoremRX. They do appear to be playing the system (if that makes sense). They will be fully aware of VAL's position and appear to be stringing the 201 sublicense deal out to the almost death, getting free support (at our expense), safe in the knowledge that VAL will need them, more than they need VAL at this time. It's classic balance of power shifting. This is of course my opinion and should be read in that way, I may be talking complete 80110cks ;-)

Yes, I think if they want money, that is their only option. There are a few 'dead wood' investments. Hopefully if Dynasty is bought out, there will be no need to liquidate anything else. We should have some movement regarding Dynasty in the not too distant future. We've been expecting it for a while now, so have BLU.

There will be no placing. Any such move was voted against at the AGM.

FG didn't sell his shares in to the market, he sold them to an investor to buy back at a higher price on 16th June. Hence the investor makes a profit from FG. So he contractually obliged to pay the agreed price to that investor.

I suppose, FG also hoped that the share price might have been higher, but alas it isn't. But it could be if we get positive news before 16th June.
