cant believe so many PI bottle it when it got above 70p and sold out. makes the algos job so easy for them

on cash, they will have 500m, of which 156m is bank overdraft (ie debt which will increase finance costs), so 'real' cash is 344m but yes liquidity is 500m cash + 170m RCF (which I would hope they never need to use)

FCF +ve cant come soon enough. THG cashburn is high (circa 1/2 billion since float)

AS1 and Oke - both of you make logical and fact based opinions.
Beauty and Nutrition business are fine; albeit Nutrition was too dependent on whey prices (however THG have done a lot to mitigate this ie non whey products/ licensees / supermarket listings etc)

the problem is ingenuity which, its commerce growth has stalled, but requires circa 100m annual capex - until it lands big whales and GMV, it is worth nothing (the commerce side) as it makes a loss - this is why the analysts reduced their target prices

FCF positive will rerate/ better ebitda than expected will rerate/ whales will rerate
but topline volume wont as it loses money

can you share any 'Gamestop' style squeezes that have happened in the UK?
If an MBO happens, shorts who have their holding above the MBO price may suffer, but most started in July '21 so you would need a MBO of circa 400-500p - the SP today is struggling to hold 64p.....

could challenge 60p with the UT today, but the principle of what i shared has played out
interestingly Boo/ ASC/ Ocado are recovering but THG is still going down....this is pure shorts and algos at play vs zero buying support
could easily re-explore the lows unless THG IR get their act together and report updates, or an MBO actually happens, or an II buys in with a RNS

some help for you when investing and understanding short positions (and its not from me, but 1pencil) - rampers like you are dangerous when egging people to invest on untruths/ or a stupid understanding of the market

no they are not.
short tracker only shows shorts above 0.5%, I suggest you look at hoe many companies reduced to 0.49% and hide under that level
even moulding talked about this
suggest you discuss with 1pencil - he has a good read on shorts and a better feed. last read showed shorts increasing again

Coldspy, you donut, of course it will come. shorts in total control. what will stop them from layering small amounts to bring down. It was 78p 7 days ago, now 7 red days in a row, acclerated each day in the afternoon, and we are seeing 61ps

60p never came and nor will it.

In fact apologise to everyone here who you attempt to deceive routinely

no they are not, at least 5 are sitting at just below the 0.5% threshold level
and its a mute point if no significant buyer of significant volume comes in, they control the narrative

shorts are loading. only reason SP went up Bennbridge bought circa 7M shares. there has been absolutely zero II interest or buying
SP went up on hope of MBO (didnt happen) and then cos shorts loaded
now it is being bought back down in a controlled manner - 60p is at threat in the next few sessions

same happened on friday in the last hour or so

AS1, your insights are very good, but you know why. The algos havent been unleased yet.
even since your post its now -2%, caused by a few thousand algo sells
theres limited buying so they can drop easily near or inline with the boo/asos/ocado drop if needed

20 DMA is something they need to overcome but is easy unless buying kicks in

when the algos wake up, this has got at least a -5 to -8% drop in a day written all over it
get down to challenge 60p would be my guess of what the shorts will do

down 15% last week
would have expected some sort of bounce by now if its so cheap
