I have no doubt there has been something going on, just what that is and the timelines involved is what I'm after. Sometimes I get the impression you might be privy to things others aren't or maybe I just wish I had your faith. But let me try and nail this down ... Is it feasible to get an exploratory well completed by the end of term or at least started?

As of today my understanding of the Orinduik license extension is summed up in this one paragraph ... 'Eco entered the second phase of the second renewal period of the Orinduik Licence on January 14, 2024'. This phase requires the drilling of one exploration well targeting the Cretaceous formation before the licence term ends on January 13, 2026'. The paragraph is from a Kaieteur News article dated November 3 of this year which I've tried to hyperlink. It's pretty definitive saying "requiring the drilling" which is now too late. We now depend on the mercy of the government or some quick talking Navitas people.

Anglat, What a perfectly honest and perceptive question to be asking, "Aren’t we selling the family silver"? If it wasn't for the euphoria in the past few days I might have asked if it was a sale by GH, or Navitas extortion - but nobody likes a party pooper. It should be obvious that if there were other suitors their offers must have been horrible - Navitas might have been the lesser of bad deals. I'll be watching Navitas and how they handle Guyana between now and the 15th of next month. I've stopped selling at 20p and won't be buying until we hit 14p.

It's a good way to buy shares for the long term ie make a few bucks along the way and if you are caught out just keep em'. It costs between $4.99 and $9.99 a trade depending on how active you are, but it's easy money providing you are accumulating anyways - and a bit of fun. I only mention it because it isn't just profit taking at the end of the day on the TSX, the churning of millions of shares daily in my experience can be put down to the flippers.

I was hoping we'd get into the 50s before they'd be at, but not if this morning is any indication.

Great post spudz. Many institutional investors don't carry stocks under $5 and I doubt any carry penny stocks at all. As this continues to rise it'll light up a lot of radars, hopefully a major or two will take notice in the meantime. $18.59 .... The TSX will be interesting today, maybe the 55 cent range.

Assuming you gentlemen are referring to Jethro, and or Joe, do we not first have to discredit Tullow's noncommercial assessment to Guyana's government? Will a major believe Navitas or Tullow. As far as temperature and flow are concerned I definitely remember those to be in positive territory.

Here is hoping the government likes the partnership enough to grant us an extension.

IJT, Until an hour ago I had never heard of Navitas. I've since learned they are another Israeli outfit, but that is about it so far. My immediate curiosity is whether they have ever been of interest to larger concerns. Re Hammerhead ... You or another poster here have suggested that Eco is entitled to 5-15% of Hammerhead should it be determined that the oil is all of the same lot, has that changed?.

MrMil, Exxon may have held back on the FID until they had learned what Guyana intended to do with Eco, one way or the other. This now may boil down to Gil's charm and savvy, lets hope he still has the magic.

IJT, Thank you for your frank answer re Guyana. Six years is quite a time line - I for one will be in my eighties should I make it that far. Too bad Gil couldn't have been just as up front as your posts have been all along. This punter still can't help but wonder if Gil's postcode has something to do with some of this.
