Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
No need to feel sorry Olderandwiser, they knew the risks playing the Venture. Do you recall a post discussing Gil Holzman's favourable deal with Guyana, was it 1% or 1.5%? This may be the next shoe to drop when the time is ripe on the Venture.
Pretty well from my first days here I've cautioned you chaps on the TSX-V, yet the old PSA chestnut had many panties in a knot - now that's embarrassing. No doubt the next shaking-out will have the same lot in a tither as well. Anyone with a trading segment of their holdings is doing quite well. GLA!
TheTRadersFoocus - you think the Venture is bad, do some reading on it's predecessor!
"top slicing" … my top slice is working hard on both sides of the trade which is making a few bucks although today is tough since the sp settled into a tight range outside my parameters - unless it pops at the close. I won't have my 10 bagger until the sp reaches $3.
Sorry, the quote from the interview link is at the 13:55 mark.
"distinct stand alone project" was the GH quote referring to Joe.
hereandnow, GH quote from Malcy interview mid May https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=gil+holzman+interview+discussing+Joe&view=detail&mid=D5A4E5251547DF45AB8DD5A4E5251547DF45AB8D&FORM=VIRE
Personally, had my strategy years ago been to wait for Eco to find a hot prospect I wouldn't have been invested to the point where I now hold a meaningful stake. My bet from the beginning was on Gil Holzman's Mo/"DNA" and I won't be distracted by any pre-sell posturing.
Post sale I'd like to see a clean break and an opportunity to invest in Namibia, yes Guyana is still a prequel to this punter.
Anyone care to put a price on a share of Eco Namibia? Would we start at 18p knowing we have an experienced management with the right stuff?
Thanks all. Note, the $7 would have included the Jethro Channel being successful - I'd hoped we'd have 3 good wells drilled on our block and a sale of Guyana assets before year end. Also, it would take one helluva an offer to get Gil Holzman to include Namibia, that I'm certain of if nothing else.
Lots to think about there, much appreciated.
Carapa gnaws at my most optimistic expectation, if it were my call I'd sell at $7 before that drill - one roll too many for me. Of course an unexpected failure at Joe and it'll be 'come on Capara'.
Maverick, could you please elaborate on "special dividend" svp. I alluded to a dividend several months ago hoping those with knowledge/experience might share but no reply. Would a dividend take the form of cash, shares, or perhaps some other vehicle.
A successful Carapa drill and it won't matter, we'll be gone this year and hopefully kicking off in Namibia Q1.
Are you playing CGX on the pinks?
$2.63/160p at 1:17. May not close this high, interesting day for AIM tomorrow.
TSX-V just hit $2.58, a new high.
Sorry ,https://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2019/08/25/uk-company-quietly-moving-into-guyana-basin/
Another Guyana play, article mentions Westmount Energy Ltd. and Cataleya Energy Ltd. neither of which are listed on the Venture. As of 12:55 PM Eco price is $2.56 on 78,141 shares.
Didn't want to break the thread.
Thought this might be of interest … https://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2019/08/25/uk-company-quietly-moving-into-guyana-basin/
"This drilling exercise will run until December 31 of this year" - the first sentence in 3rd paragraph of a Guyana News and Information article. Now, I'll be the first to admit that the word "exercise" used here doesn't have to refer to drilling, and since we are already 6 weeks behind any further delays may cost us a fourth drill regardless.
I don't recall where I read it, but I was under the impression we had the Stena Forth until the end of the calendar year and that there could be an additional drill. Hope someone chimes in with a source.
