Spudz, finally glad to read that someone else interpreted Gil's "ten bagger" as a moment of jocularity which I'm sure was the case.

Some of the posts today seem to be reflective in nature, so let me ask about the effects of the increased price of oil and what it means for Eco's value in the longer term should the war go on. I'm thinking of the value of the oil that sits on our blocks and whether or not this jump in oil prices will expedite planning towards drilling. Also, regardless of any changes in our current situation shouldn't our sp keep pace, to some degree, with the price of oil which up to now it hasn't.

I've got a decent amount of Sintana and recently picked up a little Borders & Southern. Touchstone and Stamper are on my radar, the former I've been bidding on for several months but can't seem to get served in spite of the sp hitting my bid price.

For many years I believed Eco would be bought out, no longer, Navitas has changed my thoughts along those lines.

A long time holder of Eco of course and currently building a position in Sintana, but would swap out Borders & Southern with Meren Energy.

My goal was to find a good prospect between Walvis and 3B/4B.

PEL083 (Mopane) was obvious, and after looking at Custos Energy, and its affiliation with Sintana, thought it worth a flyer. Somewhere in all of this I'm sure Nayla came up on the Namibia side of the border. Sorry about that mate and thanks for taking the time - my apologies to the rest for cluttering up the nice flow this morning.

Up 7% on the TSX-V at the close today, 25p equivalent.

I liked the look of Nayla, so picked up a few Sintana shares.

Eco and Navitas have their hands full at the moment in Guyana, but do they have enough heft to consider a shot at 104 should Namibia care not to continue with TotalEnergies. Another basin would be a great addition.

Molokai, very funny lol .... $0.72 on the TSX-V with only 9k shares traded, and next to nothing listed on either side, going to be a quiet morning, perhaps a long weekend for some.

That is correct spudz, there was however a proposed increase to 66.67%, I'll know soon enough once it warms up a little.

There are registered accounts for tax purposes which I've avoided up to now, your post is timely with recent events, so I'd better soon get up to the bank. Currently -24C which is equivalent to -34C with the humidity. Pretty lethargic this time of year.

Eco doesn't do any oil and gas business in Canada, so the Capital Gains Tax applies over here - at 50%. There is no 10 year holding break here.
