@LuckCounts seems so. I expect HBR to test the range and trade in the low 400s before any clear mid/long term direction, so I'm holding for now.

The BP SP increased by around 25% from the end of November and back then HBR was above 400.

Who wouldn't consider calling off the deal? There was huge uncertainty in mid March, all cinemas closed and burning cash at a rate never seen before. Mooky and Co. did absolutely the right thing and Barbara is out of this world if she believes that every deal should go ahead, awarding Cineplex over $1bn compensation! How did Cineworld cause damage to Cineplex for that amount? Even if you were intentionally trying to drive your competitor out of business I think you'd struggle big time to cause such financial damage!

I predicted 425 for CMD and since we got there earlier I closed 1/2 of my position. Should have sold everything tbh as I was barely above the water with my PMO holding. We'll see what Monday brings.

This happens all the time with all shares. Volume bought/ sold means nothing for a given day as it may depend on a "stack" from previous trading sessions. Then there's more to it than just volumes but at what price sells & buys occur. Most likely the algorithm is set to follow liquidity and as a result the SP is down today.

With HBR you want to be better placed than them, so anything sub 350 is a solid buy in my book.

@LuckCounts I disagree on TLW being overvalued. They have a clear strategy, hedging program and are actually reducing the debt not just talking about it.

@laidback it's not all about FCF, it's good to have cash for sure, e.g. Cairn Energy have plenty of cash and the SP is stagnant. Investors are looking for development rate and potential projects. Further delays impact the SP and we can be back to 350p, as Oil said a few posts below - end of March is also Q1.

With FCA out of the way and court decision going our way this would be massive. Maybe 30p with upwards momentum. Now is the perfect time to buy when everyone's selling, imho.
