Who wouldn't consider calling off the deal? There was huge uncertainty in mid March, all cinemas closed and burning cash at a rate never seen before. Mooky and Co. did absolutely the right thing and Barbara is out of this world if she believes that every deal should go ahead, awarding Cineplex over $1bn compensation! How did Cineworld cause damage to Cineplex for that amount? Even if you were intentionally trying to drive your competitor out of business I think you'd struggle big time to cause such financial damage!
