don't know how accurate it is but it shows that vol bought is ~102k shares which is a mere £13k and the total of 41 trades which is consistent with the LSX website... if you take away ALGO trades then you're left with almost nothing... No volume = massive spread.

Posted similar comment a couple of days back. What most people don't realise is that there's a sea of AMGO shares floating on the LSX and nobody wants them even at 15p right now. There won't be any benefits in the rights issue and they run the risk of losing key LTH and (remaining) investors. AMGO need to look for funding elsewhere.

Gymking, 400p is 20p in old money so we're still under that. Consolidation is the killer, we would've been in the 30s easily with PMO, IMHO.

Mark, I wouldn't be so sure that current holders would like to increase their stake... I bought in February so in much better position than most LTH but also didn't sell at 30p because I could see the process. I don't want to be negative but nothing is clear atm and the SP reflects this. If AMGO will take a p**s and milk the shareholders many will want to get out!

@Bluesky certainly no dilution before sorting issues with the FCA. The SP is low because investors are not convinced with the process.

don't see it happening at the current levels, maybe when we get to 40p+ dilution makes sense... The shares are already dirt cheap and there's a sea of them floating on LSE. There's a risk putting further pressure on shareholders who had suffered badly.

mountainous, for sure. Everyone has its own strategy. Some people decide to buy and wait until their target price, e.g. of 125 but because CINE is a volatile stock I'd rather accompany it several times in the 60 - 70 interval, each time increasing my long position.

typical cineworld... over the past few months the SP touched ~71p several times and then CINE got hammered so decided to sell today for a small profit, will be back in at low 60s.

Yuri you should go to specsavers, mate. TLW made profit after tax for H1 2021 and more likely we'll see the SP in the 60s than in the 30s.

Consistency is key here. Yes, they haven't promised piles of gold but Rahul delivered on what he promised last year!

Hopefully, Amigo doesn't go into insolvency. The problem is that almost every amigo customer is in a desperate situation so it's easy to see why they would stop repaying and complain. FCA can play a tough guy but at the end of the day it's not an easy task to satisfy amigo customers... just been looking through some recent complaints / 1 star reviews and there's nothing wrong from a loan business perspective but many people overestimated their ability to repay such loans. For example, one person wrote that she got pregnant and could no longer make repayments so Amigo are (abusive words). Another customer complained that his/her guarantor gets "harassed with reminder emails" and they have bad relationship now so neither wants to repay the loan and that's why Amigo are (abusive words).

How likely is it for the appeal to overturn the $1.2bn decision?
