If you follow this board you should know that those who deramp also share their investment ideas from time to time such as taking up a long position in RR (in a downtrend for the last 6 years and trading around 140p only because of the B52 contract IMHO), and also, going long in TUI that has been hammered. No wonder why they're desperate for a 45p entry here to compensate for their losses. Although, not entirely impossible but it's very unlikely for them to get a lucky Cineworld ticket.

depends at what price those buys / sells occur. Your logic would be correct if the SP was dropping and we see more and more buys. Today's price movement suggests that there's a lot of selling pressure - not shorts closing.

If the SP finishes in the 80s today, I'm predicting £4+ this week

very frustrating... last year investors called for stability and the CEO did just that, then some moaned about low oil production. Now the production's on the up. What else? I've heard "lack of exciting exploration" is holding the SP. I'm sure that after Tullow's debt is sorted a more optimistic exploration plan would be on the table. I'd say 90p is about right as of today.

Maybe the last chance to get on board before a re-rate.

Hello SauerKraut, we're currently about 2p away (old PMO money) which used to be a usual daily range. Surely, the upside is greater than the downside here.

It looks like the tide is turning and if we manage to stay above 350p then the SP will most likely head towards 400p. What is your short term target? Do you think we can break 400 and get to 420 or 430 before retrace or are you looking for an early exit (e.g. 385)?

Hello Mountainous, well said! One thing I don't fully get is why there is so much short interest in CINE? The company is adequately run. Perhaps, the answer is on the surface - simply because it works on this market. LSX is more bearish than other European stock markets and at the other end of the spectrum we have NASDAQ where shorters would get murdered. :)

wisdom, what should they be doing? At least we know TLW will make profit and further reduce the debt but that's all long term. Weekly SP action depends very little if at all on fundamentals.
