We had run out of money and took a loan. No way Solg would have done that if we had options. Expensive finance option. Nothing would give me less confidence in an outcome than slug saying it with confidence. So if he says £1, I'd say bankruptcy is more likely.

No need to apologize, add. As I've said- fundraising is a long way from sorted so I'll time my buy to avoid the worst of it. I don't think I'll struggle if they are still failing to close a deal when the current emergency loan runs dry, and if I know that, the people they are 'negotiating with' know that too...

10p looks about right for Solg in it's current state, and the market agrees. If they drag on the need for funding (not including emergency loans, for obvious reasons) it might drop lower. If they can get someone with deep pockets to cough up it will dilute existing holders but might raise the SP for the shares they do still own.

The metal in the ground would be worth a lot of money if it was ready to sell. Doesn't make the company who owns the concession more valuable. If you're looking for proof, it's the disconnect fort refers to in his own post.

Spot prices today have no impact on Solg as they are a long way away from selling anything. No one knows where in the cycle prices will be when we have product to sell, so increases in the spot prices don't impact our SP.

Red has always really struggled with this, too.

They set up their own exploration outpost there in 2020, but I've not seen press releases about it. They don't appear to have tried to secure any prospecting licences according to the government records. I'm not making a comment on their interest in the country either way, to be clear.
