Fair points Auson. One could argue that there was a certain mention of debt (retirement of 50 MUSD on RCF) however I think this underwhelmed the market. Anyway, we have had almost half a year that will be reported in September and to your point hopefully they will include more guidance around those points. As I have written before if everything is as has been stated then with poo heading in the direction that it is heading we should start to rise. I think another matter that clouds valuation is the muddiness around financing. The forward selling of oil being a simple example but hopefully this will clear up soon.

I think that we all feel frustrated to some degree or another. Essentially we are 20% down on what enquest were last time at when Brent was at 81 USD. Maybe it can be fully explained by the fact that production did not exceed production guidance and maybe it is due to the fact that Kraken is not signed off as yet. Regardless it is strange and I think that something is known by the hedge funds running these auto trades that we don't know. Maybe they have boats parked outside Kraken.

Even if the stock market doesn't like us :-). What should be Enquest's EBIDTA 2018? Should we count on an average production of 56k bopd and an average price of 68 USD (taking regard to hedging and elevated poo expected during rest of the year). Calculating on opex at 25 USD I get roughly 900 MUSD v 300 MUSD (2017).

Agreed Jan but why should we be worth less now with poo at 78 than we were before the last ops update unless indeed the last ops update was no good

POO up a lot and we are taking a pause. Feels that when POO gets back to 81 USD we will not be close to 44p as last time more like 40p this time.

Ask not what AB can do for enquest but what poo can do for enquest. Haha!!

Nothing on this to. Obviously it hangs together with signoff but AB needs to be careful throwing information around. It creates expectations and engages people on countless hours of tanker watching :-).

It is what it is. Not much to be done. As i have written before it is ABs company and he Will let us know on a need to know basis. My hypothesis is as long as the company is in the state that we are led to believe and if Alma can come along and even dc4 then even enquest must go up with poo above 80

Another day like many other days for Enquest when we don't go down 5% or have a repairer spike of 10%? Looks like we might end up +-0%. WTF is happening with this company? Looked into GKP after someone on the forum raised it. Market Cap of 540 MGBP with a turnover of 120 MGBP. That market cap well exceeds Enquest with a turnover that will exceed 1BN USD this year!!!

It is like most things then with Enquest - not straight forward. Regardless, even if he is not employed, given that he is highlighted as a key figure on Bloomberg (and still is) it should warrant a RNS and not a f%!king footnote in the annual report. I can understand that Waring disappears without any notice but not Richard Hall. He was one of the shining lights in the company.

Thankfully Romaron is on the ball. As I suspected Richard Hall has left the building. Romaron picked this up in the annual report on page 26. Following the successful delivery of the Kraken development, Richard Hall stepped down from EnQuest at the end of March 2018 and was succeeded by Andy Duncanson, who joined EnQuest as Kraken Area Manager. Obviously Enquest has communicated this but given that Richard had a management role I think that a rns had been in order.

My feeling is again that this was a coordinated action by Opec and the hedge funds. I think that we are all Mugs and fools (myself included) to think that markets are open and transparent. The move in wti and Brent have most likely been coorinated to maximise profits to the hedge funds.

I think that we can safely say that the market is manipulated and we are the last to know. Was reading a very interesting article on Bloomberg regarding the manipulation of the pound around the Brexit vote. Let's face it - the hedge funds that are shorting Enquest have probably access to information regarding the company financial state and can trade on this very comfortably. Suddenly the sp will move violently when they get the information regarding a turn for the better well before we find out. We are just cannon fodder.
