Have to admit that you are probably right. This share has as much direction forwards as a tortoise. A littany of failed projects and broken promises by AB means as long as the smilling cheshire cat is still there the sp Will continue to be punished

Krakenoil - i think whatever chance enquest had of creeping above 35p prior to half yearly report has been snuffed. Hopefully we can keep our nose above 30p. It is up to AB now. He cant rely on poo the next 6 months

Enquest continues to bounce around like driftwood in the north sea. No news is bad news. Nothing on kraken signoff or 20% sale which in itself is not a bad thing as i am sure enquest Will get more of 20% of a signed off kraken :-). It is difficult to understand what the proper value of enquest should be at 75+ Brent. Maybe AB Will be the one to snap up enquest at this valuation. It is a joke! 3,6 Times expected 2018 earnings as compared with ”peers” at 9 +.

I am no TA Guy but looking at ma5 through ma200 they are all within 4p of one another. Not strange given that the sp has been more or less dead meat the last 6 months but when ma 200 passes ma50 could something happen?

Agreed krakenoil. This is insane. I have given up trying to explain the big difference - AB can do that at the h1 results. I think it is important that there is real debt pay down and not just a cancellation of unused rcf. I think that disappointed the markets last time around.

Good points romaron. I remember that analysis to. We need to hear something re debt repayment that is more substantial than cancelling 50m of the rcf

The fact that we have heard little to nothing from enquest for an extended period i hope is a good sign. The updates from shipping watch from mo and chilting are much appreciated and hopefully indicate progress on increasing output. I honestly am stumped as many of you are as to why this has not translated into a sp increase. My only explanation is there must be a deep mistrust towards management and in this case the only two people who have been there a meaningful length of time are AB and swinney. That we are at a P-E of 3,68 Times 2018 earnings and other oilies are at 9 or 10 explains why the sp is dead. This is a Huge issue for management

Thanks romaron. I agree with your assessment on Trump. This is the cause of the ”weakness” in poo at the moment. From an enquest point of view i am looking forward to the H1 update and hearing more re Alma, Malaysia and kraken and hopefully a production uplift.

We could have been absolutely smashed. I was expecting that we would go sub 30 so this is a sign of strength. Only slightly better than pmo but that is to be expected given their results

I know tomorrow Will be a bloodbath for enquest. We are at yearly lowa and all the other oilies (dont want to call them peers because we are a minnow in comparison) are at year highs. Anyway i am sure that it is fully justified. As stated here the daily production is at 35k and woefully below target of 50k. Mo - any news on Alma?
