What the hell has happened with the oil markets today? Huge draws and poo collapses. What is driving the markets. Surely libya reopening their ports is not justification?

What i cantunderstand is all this small trading in the sp to push it up or down a small percent. There is no true trading in the share

Thanks enq holder. I am not an industry Guy like some investors here so i do understand that maybe i am impatient. But i just want straight answers to questions and i know there is no point expecting anything before H1 results. But AB has destroyed shareholder wealth. Of course one can argue that we can hold on for another 10 years but now is the time for the sp to fly. Why is it not and others are. Why is the debt fully valued (almost) and equity is valued way below peers (3,8 Times P-E v 9+).

Indeed the only people making money on enquest at the moment are the shorters who push it up slowly and then down very quickly. If i was AB i might be quite tempted to earn money by shorting the stock as i know when Info is coming out (or not as the case might be with enquest)

If the sp doesnt Rise when poo goes from 50 to 80 it aint going to Rise were it to go to 100. That is just fantasy. You can fool all people some of the time and some people all of the time but not all people all of the time. It is time for the IR department to step up, the cfo and AB to buy more shares and kraken sign off. It is a farce that AB says signoff is imminent and then 2 months pass. That is amateur!

I am surprised that more people are not asking the same questions. It is not the markets fault that our shares are valued at what they are. That is fair price. To ask what the bod can do about the sp after 4 years of this shite is pathetic. Of course it is AB fault. If he has borrowed 3,6 bn and turned that into 2,9 bn so that our equity is now valued at 400m rather than 1,2 bn with poo at or around 80 nicks of course he is responsibile and he is the largest shareholder!

Since 2010 AB has inflated the balance sheet with 3,6 bn of assets and debt. Back then 880 mm equity was valued at 1,2 bn. In 2018 the 760 m equity is valued at 400m.

Enquest is like betting on a donkey at the races. Gkp, pmo, cne and tullow have all lapped and we are ambling along. I cant see it getting much better than this and the bod knows as well. AB is stuck with his shares but swinney invests only his time not his money in enquest. Shame about that fool buckee who ploughed his family trust into 3 million enquest shares. Does anyone know if he participated in the rights issue?

Krakenoil - i think they only set a rating and not a target. Someone has to be first but it is a herd mentality. I agree with epiphany that it may go down again however 2 positive ratings in Quick succession may sustain the momentum.

Mo and kraken - i have had my tant for the week. I agree the potential is definitely there. My hope (as i guess is yours) when all is finally delivered then we are Also valued at a P-E of 9 or thereabouts. That is why i dont jump ship to pmo. A sucker for pain

Wow mo - you dont care at all about money. Why are you invested at all? Interesting that you ask what bod can do. 1. Deliver as promised not like Alma, galia, scolty and kraken. Here i think pmo has Done an excellent job. 2. Simplify the financials. Now it is a mixture of oil swaps, loans against assets and so forth. 3. Comunicate better. There is surely more.

Well lets see. Currently we are at 33p so there is a long way up to one quid. Hopefully AB can show us soon that he has Made the company worth that amount of money then i Will Also support him as CEO :-).

Hi mo, of course a bod cannot control sp but if it is hopelessly lagging peers (which enquest undoubtedly is then the buck stops at the bod - Im sorry mo you are mistaken on that point). Anyway, i am sure you just like doing boat watching but surely you would like to earn some money even if you are using the free version of marinetraffic?

Krakenoil - i agree but in a climate of m&a and where the sp lies hopelessly long after peers and with a management team that has ignored shareholders the decision may well be taken out of his hands. Look at the multiple companies that have been subject to a hostile takeover due to poor management performance. I know that AB has tried his best but at the end of the day some smart financiers are looking at the numbers. If AB doesnt help the sp along they Will. A P-E of 3,8 2018 profit and 5% return when peers are returning 150% is quite frankly pathetic. GLA!

Indeed if we had simply followed Brent we would be at 58p ;-)

Have definitely been the right commodity and shares to own during the past year. In that time Brent is up over 60%, gkp and pmo up over 150%, tullow 50% and enquest 5%. I did some simple maths and if enquest had followed pmo we would be at 80p so barclays target is a no brainer...
