Until enquest reports something re debt pay down, kraken signoff we cant really expect anything else. Opec could give us a helpibg hand - they have Done more for the sp than AB. Read on the ii forum that on the bloomberg site it now states that Richard hall was at enquest until april 2018. Dont know what that means. Wouldnt put it past enq that they ”forget” to mention that another let person has left. Waring disappeared without notice. The Info dept is a joke!!

:-). Krakenoil - i know se have had our disagreements in the past however we are both fully committed. Regardless, time for talking is over and time for delivery is now, not just production targets but Also sp improvement. Ultimately they should be aligned but for some reason at enquest they are not and this is either debt level, kraken signoff, expectations on poo or something AB knows and we dont.

I have worked myself in a company which was not listed however had a majority owner who was also chairman. No decision was ever taken that did not maximise his profits. Unfortunately I feel that this is the case with Enquest. I am sure that Amjad will do nicely from Enquest eventually but the question is when. That his and shareholders interests do not align from a timing perspective is obvious. As pointed out he will sign off Kraken when he is good and ready (in fact maybe he never will as it may never reach a steady production of 50k). Amjad still does handsomely from his little company - 1m GBP approximately in all forms of compensation. I think the fact that Sweeney has not invested a penny of his own money in the company (holding is simply vested shares is damning and a disgrace). That AB says sign-off is imminent needs to be taken with a hearty pinch of salt (indeed anything he spouts). Fact of the matter is that had this been an independent CEO he would be out on his arse. The sp lags significantly and that is the only way we shareholders can manage his performance.

Hard to say. I think we are well undervalued now but last year i think we were technically bankrupt given cash flow, field declines and so forth. It always takes time for the market to adjust but some positive sign needs to be sent by enquest. Good that moodys gave the credit update but we need debt paydown, increasing production (kraken ramp up and Alma) and i guess kraken sign-off. My definition of imminent differs greatly from ABs!

Insane how it can be driven up and down by the speculation. Mind you the impact on oilies is more down when poo down and sideways when poo up. Hopefully Opec thumbs their noses at trumpty

That is the great question. I think that the credibility of the respective ceos is important. Sadly i believe that amjad has lost that with the investor community through some failures and delays. The financials dont differ greatly otherwise. It is always special when the CEO is the majority owner and i think that Also plays a role. Obviously credibility can be restored but it Will take quite some time including kraken signoff, debt pay off and met production targets
