No one is willing to stick their neck out as to what might happen with enquest as they have not delivered against targets during the past 4 years, Alma and scolty were disasters etc. hopefully if report in september is ok we Will get some positive rerates.

Krakenoil - i Also wish that sp was 60p plus and then the tone of most posts would be chirpier. But it is not and we are all hurting. There is a reason for this and i dont believe that it is because the market is irrational. Ultinately the Street knows things that we dont - god knows what. It could be another advance payment deal similar to that which AB constructed in december - i have no clue. But hopefully poo Will remain elevated, kraken Will be signed off (positive that bumi is making noises in that direction and debt Will decrease. Not sure if we can afford more of Magnus and ultimately all these loan and swap deals mean that the financing is even more obscure. But ultinately the sp is the best gauge as to how the CEO is performing. AB cant blame Anyone else - he has been at the healm the whole time. Major shareholder, CEO. We are not invested in enquest - we are invested in AB :-).

Agreed romaron. Rumours swirl in the city that dont often reach us mere mortals. Another thing is the financing is difficult to get a grip on. The forward sale of oil knocked the stuffing out of the sp as no one saw it coming let alone really understood why it was needed but obviously it was needed and that was not a good sign. If poo remains elevated, 58k is met, kraken is signed off and say 250kbdebt paid down this year then next year may be enquests year in my opinion. Regardless, AB has underperformed in my opinion and the sp is the best measure of that. But there is a chance that things can sort themselves out

Wow. But you must admit it is deflating to put all the time into tanker and drilling watching and the sp is more or less where it was at the point of the rights issue. If AB was not the majority owner he would have been fired by the board for gross underperformance by this stage. It is interesting to read all the posts about Amundsen spirit and so forth but at the end of the day most people are here to make money and the performance of enquest is to be blunt rubbish.

Haha! Didnt no it was either or ;-). Well if i had to choose i would prefer that the CEO (AB or someone more fitting) started to deliver against and exceed raggets.

I guess i am one but i am not a deramper. Obviously things are going on that are not fully transparent to investors. The performance of the pmo share as compared to enq is evidence of that despite their restructuring not being as investor friendly. Start a personal attack on AB again but once again this is where he needs to step up. If he is serious about this becoming a credible company he needs to attract investors and put an end to these senseless short attacks on the sp. Obviously he cannot send out more information one week after the last rns but the rns must be well thought through in the first place. What is the real state of the company? Is opex 24 dollars or higher if we count in kraken?

Krakenoil - enquest is far behind other oilies such as pmo and tullow in terms of recovery. Regardless the oil shares feel a lot like the cds market back in 2006. Everyone felt with defaults increasing that cds would be affected. I guess it doesnt fit the narrative yet. The markets are completely corrupt so as a small investor one needs to wait until the bleeding obvious indeed becomes bleeding obvious

Quite possible. Anyway, the comment about selling off 20% kraken to derisk is very true. Replacing that with 100% Magnus should be well received

My thoughts as well. It should not be sold at a loss! Anyway, hopefully impending sign off means that enquest has one less issue to deal with
