Definitely feels like last weeks drop in sp had very little to do with poo. The share is completely being steered by hedge funds from what i can see. For the well being of the share it is vitally important that enquest steps up their information department.

Agreed. It is what it is as sometimes is said. Fundamentals are improving and hopefully the drilling program Will be a success. Generally enquest is more successful with incremental drilling programs.

I didnt really follow to closely what pmo did but they were able to restructure in a more satisfactory fashion. Not necessarily. Look at H&M. There the chairman and majority owner Stefan Persson put his son in charge and he is not up to the job. Unfortunately father cannot replace his son and although he is pumping more and more of his own money into the share the sp is collapsing. The investors have no faith in the CEO. I believe that you need to disassociate majority shareholding from leadership because it does not allow you to look at yourself squarely in the mirror. AB needs to do that. There is no shame were he to hand over the reigns to a more capable individual. Tony durrant seems to be such a person. The sp is as much a vote of confidence in the person in charge and a low sp can be an attempt by the market to effect change.

Lets Bury the hatchett. We want the same thing. Enquest sp to increase significantly. What we disagree on is who needs to do it. You write that AB has Done his best and the company is unloved. I say that he is the problem however the problem is that currently there is no enquest without AB. He is major shareholder and CEO. We need an independent CEO who can make decisions separated from his Wallet and we need to get scolty and Alma working as speced. I dont believe that AB is the right guy to be CEO. But i see opportunity in enquest. He can remain major shareholder of course

Mo - i try and be realistic ;-). I know that i have been regarded as a deramper but essentially i have been highlighting ABs problem at conveying his Message so that it is believed by investors, need to attract institutions again and delivering against promises.

There is some russia woman over on interactive investor forum talking about 24-27 being the next stop and that enquest is a trading share. After this weeks sell-off i cant disagree but regardless it is an absolute disgrace that AB cannot make evident the value of what he claims to have created. Given the many sell-offs following his ops updates one would hope that he would have learned but no - he sends out the same shit with no regard to the consequences. That is simply not good enough from him

Hey epiphany - you smartarse. Let me explain something that you seemed to have overlooked. Enquest did not start business on the 1st of january. There was receivables that were built up during last year that should have been paid to coincide with the time period when enquest was awaiting payment for this year's delivery. And what gives you the right to talk to others in that fashion. You need a wake up

Interesting read but sorry to say one needs to take everything that AB says with a strong element of scepticism. It is dependent on x, y, z and something else. We need more predictability and certainty. Also interesting to read that they have picked up on the lack of instutional interest that I raised a couple of months ago and was shouted down over. AB needs to sell the company to insitutions and 20% of kraken to an investor.

Understand mo. You are not the only one. I am just saying it is stupid to put out half information without context. If only ops then why put a statement on cash balance without explaining where all the cash flow has gone. 56k barrels a day at 62 (conservative) and opex at 24 should have generated roughly 250m less say 100m in capex and 30m in financials. Why is cash balance down 40 and not up 120m?
