WHO knows indy. Everytime the sp goes up krakhead starts getting excited and talking about it. I have been reported apparently but for what? I have as little knowledge as everyone else on this site but i am deeply suspicious about why this keeps on happening. Anyway everyone knows that AB disappoints so the sp will head for 30p on friday. But he is a great fella who has halved the value of the company at a time when Lundin petroleum has gone up 600%. Genius!

I thought that we might have to wait for AB to sink it but it feels like the bots are beating him to it! This is a joke!!

Dont worry. We are going back to 30p. Dead in the water!

Feel the same. We are all fools but approach it from different angles. Some such as krakenoil think anyone WHO is negative is a deramper. Maybe it is AB alias? This sp is dead and being played by the hedge funds. They Will dump it on friday. Time for a cash call? This is a zombie sp

The question is which is stronger. Thus far the market has shown no interest in reevaluating enquest.

I guess we have a gap down to 30p that we need to close again. Missed the top again....

I didnt expect that it would be an issue whether or not enquest could pay off the RCF debt in October so I was surprised to see this discussion yesterday. Surely this would have been flagged earlier as it appears that production will hit targets of 54k on average. Nevertheless, I would have hoped that we had powered beyond 44p at this stage but no. I think that AB has probably taken on too much debt, chosen the wrong partners (BUMI), made some dumb decisions (Alma, Scolty) and the weight of all this will keep the sp in the dolldrums for some time to come.,

Indy and l3 - i think IM a sucker for punishment. Agree with your reasoning. I think that AB is a rich idiot. Who else could turn 2bn in borrowings into -500m in equity. Look at gkp and Lundin that have turned projects into succeses. Even pmo is on the right track. AB has driven this company into the ground

Hope you are right. Sp is still dead so that is more what i am referring to - that is why people invest in a company. Hopefully the production figures are already baked in and the guidance will wow the market

Dont know. Feels like groundhog day with enquest. Thanks epiphany for sharing the oga stats. Disappointing as it feels the leadership just cant lift production figures.

Thats a good analysis epiphany. I support that. Will be interesting to hear what enquest has to say and what opex Will end up at.

I dont think that this should be interpreted negatively towards enquest but there is some profit taking hopefully ahead of a further climb.

Last time we were around this sp and the report was released the sp went up initially and then headed south quickly. Appears that it has been well received this time.

Hopefully this Will not have a negative effect on the sp as it appears there are sufficiently other positive stories - Magnus, Alma, Malaysia, poo etc. Nevertheless, the timing to coincide with bumi report is clear. We are not that close to an imminent signoff. Signoff is surely dependent on consistent production over 50k a day. The fault must surely lie with bumi fpso but in the end that doesnt matter too much.

Epiphany - this has a good feeling i agree. What many of us have been waiting 3 - 4 years for this. A good update on kraken, Alma, Malaysia and Magnus would really get the sp Rolling and something on debt reduction. Heres hoping.
