Sorry forgot to add that mountainous post clearly shows that they seem to think that money is far more important than health, i.e profit before people! The full post is basically trying to ramp up Cines sp by saying everything is looking good covid wise when it clearly isnt!

The covid figures dispute the post above, cases are rising NOT getting better and deaths per day are still over 100 and will only get worse as the flu season kicks in! Scientists are telling the government to act now, why?

sharefall I was just repeating what the Doc said so if you have issues with an actual professional saying then tell them, I didn't tell anyone NOT to have the jabs just not to have them together! I've had both jabs and get my flu one next month. Also I'm very happy you and your wife have had no issues having both jabs but that doesn't mean others aren't having serious enough issues to require going into hospital due to having both on the same day. Classic case of not happening to me so cant be happening at all syndrome!

Bonkers In no way was my post meant to cause you any upset so apologies for that, my reason for asking is because I'm still very uncertain if we should get our youngest child vaccinated.

No matter who this upsets no one can deny that this vaccine has not gone through the proper testing procedures to test for safety which is why so many are worried about doing so, no matter how much ranting you want to do this is a fact which cannot be disputed so injecting children with what in effect is a test vaccine is worrying.

Anyway I didn't mean to cause any issues here, if you think I did then thats your opinion which you are entitled to :)

Hi Bonkers, would you mind explaining your reasoning for getting your children vaccinated considering the figures for covid issues with children are extremely low?

Also mountanious I'm not sure why you think this:- "COVID, it is certainly looking more positive" The rates of infection coinciding with the flu season does not bode well which is why scientists are wanting some measures to come back in now, I was at the hospital on Sunday and the Doc said the pick up lately in people being admitted is not good, so who exactly do we believe?

One note on this, if you are getting either flu or covid injection DO NOT get them on the same day or week for that matter, the Doc said this is also a major cause of pick up of people going into hospital dueto the body not being able to cope with both jabs at the same time.

I watched a YT vid with Rick Rule saying that interest rates going higher are bad for gold unless I misheard what he was saying, he seems to think that gold and silver etc are 4 years or so into a 10 year bullrun but that he expects a pullback in the near terms probably into next year? I'll rewatch later when I find the vid to confirm.

RK you are obviously a very clued up investor but why you would think even typing that let alone pressing send would be a good idea is beyond me? Surely you should have known what would happen here? We all make mistakes and your one mistake was this one above, the rest was all a very good way of trying to help other pi's assuming all of what has been mentioned is true?

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong? RK asked 7 questions, was asked not to divulge answers, RK does as is asked and does not menion the answers, other pi's rightly question this and no one is any further informed due to no one but RK knowing what the answers were? Thanks

Normally I would say dont go just ignore but these boards really can drag your mental state down if you read them to much, I try to stay away when feeling down but will admit that reading GGP's board does cheer me up sometimes even if its people just winding others up and others biting, you can just see the rods reeling! This board can have days full of good informative reads not just regarding GGP which is why OT subjects are sometimes nice to read, when you compare this board to some others then its a breeze on here! To be fair to speedy I was the the one who originally started this thread due to it beind a mainly gold base company I assumed it would be ok to do so? Not actually sure what the issue is tbh as I'd rather read these types of threads than some of the other rubbish posted? Obviously people want to talk about GGP due to it being GGP's board but surely its ok to go off topic as such now and again?

I agree speedy, these convos are interesting, I dont understand much of it but its far better than constantly reading people argue and mention that effing green bin! Have some poeple not got it in them to just ignore? Ah well we are all different but the more convos like this the better along with the GGP info based convos even if the vast majority are just speculaltion and assumptions. A pet hate of mine is price predictions, I admit to doing it myself in the past but its a fools game imo.

I never thought about buying in tranches throughout the year, my idea was to buy so many per each year but your point makes more sense due to price fluctuations so thanks for that. I had a chance to buy 4 Krugerrands a few years back but didn't have the spare money to do so! I may go the route of 1 sovereign and 1 Brittania over the year and maybe mix in a few silvers? Ty

I've got quite a bit of "Scrap" Gold such as chains rings etc which I bought from various people back around 2013 and also a sovereign which I paid £215 I think? I just wanted an idea if its worth actually buying silver coins or bars as I'll be buying gold coins more now but with the VAT on silver its not overly attractive. I do understand your price variation comment though, I think I'm just to greedy or overly cautious! :)

To try and change the tone does anyone have any thoughts on buying silver and gold coins now? I was going to buy some, my basket was £536 but decided not to press buy, within hours it was £524 so it made me hold off which I seem to have a bad habit of doing lately!
