West Kytlim income?
165kg of platinum mined in EUA's best year in 2018 so lets use that as we know this figure has been achieved in the past.
2018 annual accounts figures used below.
Total production for 2018 season 165kg raw platinum and total mine revenue was £2.57 million.
Grams chemically pure
Platinum 112,597 = £2,294,267
Iridium 5416 = £30,101 ???????
Palladium 418 = £12,798
Rhodium 654 = £40,055
Gold 994 = 196,108
Total mine revenue £2,573,329 (**This figure is TOTAL so deductions have to come off such as only 68% ownership, overheads, mining costs etc)
Iridium sales figure makes zero sence to me as the price of iridium in 2018 was roughly £1100 per oz = £35 per gram x 5416 = £189,000? Not sure what I am not understanding about the price here?
Figures roughly adjusted to 2021 prices
Platinum 1.2 x 2018 price x 112,597 = £2,753,120
Iridium 4 x 2018 price x 5416 = £120,404 ??
Palladium 2.5 x 2018 price x 418 = £31,995
Rhodium 6.5 x 2018 price x 654 = £260,357
Gold 1.5 x 2018 price x 994 = £294,162
Total mine revenue £3,460,038 (**This figure is TOTAL so deductions have to come off such as only 68% ownership, overheads, mining costs etc)
Now there are 3 washplants so if we say all 3 plants are fully up and running and used 165kg per washplant then thats £10,380,114 total mine revenue, dont forget deductions as above.
Even with deductions if these figures are anywhere near would it not mean a decent income from WK? A few £ mill income profit per year from WK? Not sure what people want or expect tbh?
I understand no one knows how much of each mineral would be mined which is why I'm basing figures purely on what is currently proven by fact i.e 2018 annual report figures then x by 3 plants! (Basic calcs)
I personally think this figure is to high only because I'm assuming the amount of work that would have to be done to clear that much overburden and to run 3 plants at those levels but wtf do I know?
I'm sure there are a multitude of other factors I haven't included which is why my figures should NOT be used as financial advice (LOL) Yea from me ;) They are only basic calcs and will almost certainly be wrong :)
