I see those words, mizman, but they are left unquantified … ? dates, amounts, areas and depths, grades, prices, costs, targets, etc? …. all are lacking in relation to a proper, detailed mining plan.

i used to work with andrew mckenzie many years ago. he would never have let someone get away with presenting a mining plan that just said, “yuh, well, we gonna do some mining and it will make us some significant additional funds. it’s gonna be brill.”

Stej, i think you’ve made about the only constructive comment so far about possible future s/p catalysts for EUA, when you suggested that part/all of the MT DFS coming into the public domain might move the s/p.

no-one else seems to have come up with much else so far.

No, not overlooked, mizman, it’s just that as per usual EUA hasn’t actually said what the mining plan is … dates? targets? costs? projected financial outcomes? - i.e. the whole facts and figures thang which EUA tends to leave out (hence no-one can ever answer aubery’s very reasonable questions).

I think you are probably wasting your time expecting FCA or AIM regulation to take that much an interest in EUA. if they were going to act, i think they would probably have done so long ago, when the nomad resigned and the ACF ‘report’ (= puff) with those ludicrous figures was being touted around.

on the whole, the EUA board are pretty careful imv with that they put out by RNS … the issues are more that they are very vague, keep lots of information back, and phrase things very carefully to permit others to read very over-optimistically, rather than EUA itself putting out false info. jmo.

cheerleaders here have been saying for a long time that MT DFS would be a gamechanger. OK, it’s been ‘accepted’ now, but nothing that earth-shattering happening on the SP front, trading around 3p-ish still.

so now that the MT DFS is sorted, ** what are the next kinds of positive SP catalysts*** that enthusiasts here think may be in the pipeline for EUA in the near / medium term future?

(…. excluding for the moment the very dramatic ones of (a) RNS dropping saying they’ve sold the lot for a huge pile of wonga, and (b) putin surrenders, withdraws from ukraine, promises reparations, returns all the abducted children, hands himself and kiril over to the hague for trial, and presents a new interim government for russia headed by a democratically elected, accountable set of respected thinkers, economists and pragmatic but liberal politicians, with a clear timetable for future elections and invitations for new political parties to be registered.)

& again (enough for now). quite a day’s spanking for AZN today.

Some folks on this board used to suggest that they were stockpiling the concentrate to try to take advantage of future price rises. since they say they are currently attempting to sell it, given metal price drops they’ve not done so well with that. should have just flogged it to begin with (… but could they?)

EUA has never disclosed what conditions are attached to activating that sinosteel agreement - so (a) we don’t know if those conditions have been met, (b) we don’t know what costs EUA itself would need to bear on its side if sinosteel invoked, and (c) we don’t know whether the MT mining economics would actually make it remotely worth anybody at all trying to mine it … no DFS content published.

The company can’t afford to mine MT currently, and it’s unclear if it will ever be economically viable to do so.

a DFS has been ‘accepted’, but it’s unclear whether that has actually added value or conversely confirmed that MT is a disastrous money-pit that no investor should touch with a barge-pole.

they have not disclosed what the DFS itself actually shows. i strongly suspect that if the content of the MT DFS was good news then they would have been shouting it from the rooftops.

(? if i remember rightly, EUA never disclosed the WK DFS either? -which still appears to be burning cash rather than generating meaningful revenue… happy to be corrected if i’ve overlooked publication of WK DFS somewhere, tia.)

seems odd that the CEO has gone apparently without serving a notice period … ? or is this just another one of those EUA comms things where they didn’t bother to tell the market when he did hand in his notice?

… but this seems unlikely, imv, since in the ‘directors’ report’ section of the RNS, they are clear that they *are* attempting to sell the concentrate:

“The concentrate has a total net weight of 199.3 kg and a realisable value of not less than £4.1 million. The Company is in advanced negotiations with a number of parties to realise this value in the near future. “

Seems a little overdone. bought back a little trading slice as a swap for a sliver of glen.

… putting it another way, the BoD acknowledge there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell of selling it to anyone outside BRICS.

Seems like they are no longer trying to claim that their strategy is “unaffected” by sanctions, now just making the narrower claim that their corporate activities are not illegal in relation to sanction legislation (whoop-dee-do).

According to mac, the montechundra DFS was that last critical key enabling one of the many eager buyers to pounce. DFS now accepted …

plan B if no asset sale was meant to be mining it themselves, but they seem to be admitting that it’s not viable to use the sinosteel thang.

so they are now have either plan A or plan A, which is to sell. no signs of any progress on that at all, no mention anymore of the interested party who had done DD and was supposedly still at the table, whatever that was ever meant to mean. instead, holders are just left with:

“The Board remains of the view that any buyer is likely to be found in BRICS countries. This process has now run on substantially longer that the Company’s management team had anticipated … [ ] … Further updates will be made as appropriate although there is currently low visibility as to when this might be. As ever, there can be no guarantee that Eurasia will enter into binding agreements regarding the sale process.”
