They’ve never given a very convincing explanation for the delay, imo.
RNS of 27th June (yup, 6 months ago), just said:
“… the investments made by the company in the US, which were announced during and post year end, have resulted in a delay to the published timetable and the auditors require additional time to complete their audit.”
c’mon, how hard can it be?! - this is a tiny company, and the US ‘investments’ do not seem especially complex and extensive as to require **half a year extra** (!!) for the auditors to check and agree the company’s accounts. ridiculous, and the resignation of that director associated with the US investments is hardly a positive sign, to put it mildly.
if they just fail to produce accounts, delist, then go for liquidation with bona vacantia, that would avoid proper scrutiny / disclosure about what assets are really left within the company and which pockets the cash ended up in. that might be very convenient for some. jmv.
