My thoughts exactly Junior3564
The FC could charge batteries when not charging cars. The batteries can charge the cars when they need it. The cars wouldn’t need to be fully charged all the time just as an ICE car doesn’t need a full tank of fuel.
This year alone, the world has witnessed the effects of climate change such as those awful fires in Australia and US and the incredible flooding in Germany. For nations to request removal of particular statements from the reports smacks of lobbying from companies within their own countries. Wouldn’t it be better for companies to get behind these new technologies as their new wealth generators and effectively smooth the transition to clean energy? Middle East countries have shown willingness to step into a world of green tech so I’m surprised to see their comments. Once again we need the science to accurately provide direction before fires, flooding, hurricanes and drought accelerate.
Surely, if the technology is there now, we should be using it to accelerate the change to clean energy ?
This link looks very dodgy!
DW - you know full well that AB was unable to travel due to US Covid travel rules regardless of his vaccination status. Be careful or someone will be tracking your IP address with your plainly ridiculous and libellous comments!
You’re going on filter yet again.
Oh DW how tedious you sound.
Personally, I’m prepared to wait until COP26 where I’d hope to receive some sort of news. We’re very much in H2 so plenty of time before year end as well.
Croqman- of course they can if a contract isn’t signed then afc would be misleading the market saying it had a sale. Clear to me.
Hi Tetrolite- no reason they can’t get some green hydrogen shipped in on an electric tanker as well as produce hydrogen on site via electrolysis or dare I say ammonia cracker? Would be an ideal opportunity to showcase to media the options available.
Superstar. Sadly there’s a very important point here. Chippyjo has in his possession, a list of email addresses and share totals at a point in time so he’s very aware of a lot of PIs positions. So it’s very disingenuous of him to come on here acting like a chameleon changing his position on AFC depending on his current play. People should be aware of his ramping and deramping and I would ask that he deletes all of the personal information he holds on other PIs. I have him on filter as I can’t stand the constant deramping/ramping dishonourable behaviours he displays.
Genset not gender * :-D
Hi Ogggs - I find your responses to Haggis a bit surprising. For me, EV has the potential to become a major arm of the business for AFC. EV sales are likely to far outstrip the ability for the charging infrastructure to keep apace. Fleet vans/taxis/buses will need access to many KW of power that could easily be supplied independently via off-grid technology such as AFC/ABB charging. Additionally, consumers will require confidence that they can charge anywhere in the UK/world such that range anxiety becomes a thing of the past and we can rely on EV charging as much as we do fuel forecourts currently (well not in recent days of course).
Also, whilst all new vehicles will need to be anything other than ICE by 2030, Rolls Royce are sending out a very strong message that prestige cars such as theirs will be EVs. This will be a signal to other car manufacturers and the technology they are developing will influence other EV designs from a technological perspective.
Of course, we have other potential revenue streams that AFC are exploring such as Data Centres, gender replacement but they’re other arms of AFCs suite of products. When I think about it in this context, the potential for AFC energy as we move forward is mind boggling !
Let’s hope we have continued news from AFC that realises this potential. GLA
What a scam that site is ! No mention of the list of partnerships we have with higher calibre organisations such as ABB and Acciona. Motley is a scam to entice you into their next big investment secre. Buyer beware.
That’s not to say that investors in AFC aren’t frustrated with the limited news of late. H2 we’re told is where our potential is due to grow (did Motley mention this?… No!)
So Motley’s motives appear to subtly deramp AFC knowing that our SP is still significantly higher than this time last year. So, continued news outflow from AFC should counteract the garbage from Mutley!
DW - ABB are calling the shots. We’d be supplying units to them if that’s what transpires. If there is anything to announce it’ll be when ABB are ready and any deals with AFC will be signed at that point only, at which time AFC and ABB can announce their price sensitive news. It’s a logical succession of events that will abide by stock exchange rules.
That’s a big IF of course that ABB are to continue their partnership and we have no reason to suspect otherwise as they have invested in AFC.
Stop with this childish and quite frankly bitter attitude towards Bond. It’s like you’re harbouring a past personal grudge towards him. Look at the bigger picture here - we have a factory with new recruits coming on board on a weekly basis!
Please please please put Daz on ignore. You’re all just rising to his bait every time. If everyone does that he’ll be talking to himself!
Is one of many sectors that will fail to meet obligations on climate change by 2050. It’s about time Mace and Acciona put their money where their mouths are and stepped up to the mark with diesel genset replacement, preferably with AFC fuel cells !
The usual negative posse are MIA today. Maybe the SP was deliberately taken down to all some of those larger trades earlier and miraculously, there’s no need for the doomsters to be posting their usual tripe. Onwards and hopefully upwards and beyond!
I don’t think Daz realises that the grid will be upgraded where it’s economical to do so. The will be many many areas where grid upgrades are impractical and will therefore require independent means of supplying all types of EV chargers in a multitude of locations. These could include fleet charging, thousands of remote locations or supermarket car parks for instance. Data centre or other backup power installations are a separate but equally comparable proposition for AFC cells.
Daz is back on filter !
“Mistamaze” - what cesspit of detritus have you appeared from all of a sudden ? Filtered!
Great find FCI ! They’re clearly surprised that people aren’t looking at the long term potential here. Years ago when we didn’t have a working product to show the sp would have rocketed!
Totally agree haggis. He did exactly the same last year. Just shows what low life can exist on these boards. It’s quite disturbing that someone can spend so much time on these boards spouting complete bobbins for their own personal gain. Good riddance to him and he’ll remain permanently filtered.
Jimmynan-very well said and needed to be pointed out
Let’s move on with this positive news today and thanks for sharing the broker note. Positive stuff.
