Hi Consimo... smelling the coffee? Welcome to the board :)
.... and in the same article:
“The number of public charging points for electric cars rises from around one million today to 40 million by 2030, requiring an annual investment of $90bn by the end of the decade. “
Hi Aimhammer. Surely this would be on the ABB website? I had a brief look last night and nothing like that jumped out in their news section
So their deed is done? Disgusting vermin
Deramper not dreamer - maybe we’re;re all dreamers though :)
Junior - you’re sounding like a dreamer now that you have sold. I trust absolutely nobody on this site apart from a very select few and they know who they are
Rugrats- I note you didn’t respond to my question.
Rugrats - I’d like you to tell me and other genuine holders of AFC exactly what you’re doing on this board.
You seem to be spending an inordinate amount of time posting on here. If you genuinely see no immediate future in this company (you keep wittering on about 5 years it’ll come good) then why are you even wasting your time messaging?
Come on, come clean, be a man and tell us please. I for one am intrigued.
RugRats - on ignore. Suggest everyone else does the same and stop giving the vile person the air time he craves.
Tedthewolf - if your response at 23:39 was to me then the video link you posted wasn’t from poormaninvestor (who I think is funny). The video you posted was 2 guys who didn’t know anything about afc
What a damp squib of a video that was. Zero research by the first guy that spoke and they basically didn’t know much at all about AFC, what they do and the type of partners AFC have let alone the massive exposure we’re getting via Extreme E. A rather lame couple of guys trying to impress us with their ability to read from AFCs published. accounts.
If that had be recorded 10 years ago it would have been more accurate in my opinion (apart from the £35m fund raise of course).
Let’s see what 5th May brings.
LarryH. Bitterness is a bit strong. When I see a positive RNS that will take AFC forward with an exceptionally strong team I fail to see that someone could sound rather negative after a few minutes. To me, DWs post deflated the positive news when there would be no time to research the new appointee to form such an opinion.
DW, myself and many others have been conversing on this board for many years. Our opinions often differ but at the end of the day we should be here to see our investments grow. We have no control over BoD so surely we should be encouraging the direction of the company based on the news provided. I don’t see anything negative in today’s appointment whatsoever.
DW - criticism is healthy when it’s constructive. Forming such an opinion on someone within 5 minutes of an RNS is not worthy of the time you took to write it. You have no idea about what he is bringing to the table. You could not possibly form an opinion about his credentials in such a short space of time and quite frankly, I trust the board’s ability to appoint the most appropriate employees to take AFC forward. Your post was clearly a subtle deramp based on your opinion formed in minutes.
Yet we were told there’d be on site generation via solar and electrolyser if I’m not mistaken
I should have included that AFCs cells use minimal precious metals as well
Well, the liquid cells must have many other advantages that we haven’t heard about other than the ones we know about of course . Let’s highlight some of these such as the ability to consume less pure hydrogen or ammonia as an input source via a cracker, less heat generated, cheaper materials such as plastic used (due to the lower heat output) and we’re able to generate hydrogen in site, as seen at Extreme E.
At the moment it’s only our partners that aware of any other advantages that AFCs liquid cells bring to the table otherwise they wouldn’t be considering using our cells before the solid cells come along. Therefore we have an immediate and growing market for them. Exciting times ahead!

A good opportunity for AFC Energy perhaps, as the facility will be 100% renewable energy.
DW - I don’t know how you can speculate who will order what and when. ABB will have been defining specifications ready for H2 delivery. Mace have aspirations which could be mind boggling for AFC. Acciona may similarly want orders planned after seeing their unit.
Yes, May event should provide more clarity but let’s stay positive about the potential here!
