Hi Superstarr - I would hope companies will be well ahead of the curve when it comes to diesel alternatives. They’ll have units to replace as they reach their end life and AFC (if they’re still in contention) will need a lead time to get our units out to replace. All very exciting to understand the opportunities we could have opening up in the coming months.

And poor that the author of the article didn’t mention that the electricity that supplied power to the cars and the race systems was generate by another British company, AFC Energy! The article would have been far more informative to its readers that the whole cycle from H2 generation to power generation is available right now!

Excellent, thanks Itsallbull. It’s reassuring to see that we’re in there with the multi-nationals and will have an opportunity to influence how the hydrogen economy will develop as well as the PR opportunities purely being a member of such an auspicious group!

Scarpa50 - totally agree and we’ve had many such discussions on this board over the years. A website is basically the shop window into AFCs products and their mission statement. They may not require additional customers right now however, potential customers down the line need to know what products will satisfy the different markets they serve.
I thought (as others have) that the end of year report was a bit confused in places and would be better written by someone with a marketing background. Simple is key and a well designed website will definitely serve them well now that we seem to have some key saleable products defined.

I suspect many people will again be researching AFC after this weekend’s ExE races and an up to date website would do them no harm whatsoever.

Responding just makes it worse. You know their games. I’ve now filtered Aim for that very reason. They’re all in cahoots I’m convinced of it.

So let’s all report them ? If enough people report for disruptive behaviour then they will need to take action.

Hi DW - we don’t know that AFC are incapable of selling it. As you know though, the Acciona, Mace and Juelich are L series. Don’t get me wrong, we are due updates on absolutely everything and I’m as frustrated as the rest but feel the need to counteract misleading posts from the likes of Gitfinger

Gitfinger - so isn’t the Extreme E fuel cell a working product? The product we’ve seen charging a brand new race series in the most extreme areas of the world highlighting versatility of one of our products. The very same product demonstrated to Princes Charles and William? The very same product demonstrated at COP26. The very same product about to be showcased at the next extreme E event on MoD land in the UK.
The very same product integrated over the summer into ABBs charger product that has left them so impressed with the liquid fuel cell they’ve reinvested in AFC and are paying for S series fuel cell?
The very same product ordered by Acciona, Mace and Juelich.

I’m not sure why I am replying as you know the above already. The above orders of AFC products are hardly rhetoric now are they!

He doesn’t say waterways he says “UK waters” which puts a totally different perspective on his comment !

Using 350kw chargers:

If everyone filtered Ade (as I did many months ago) and others then there’s no need to read their distracting tripe. Also, if they’re being disruptive to this board then report. If enough people report they’ll be removed.

I did about 9 months ago. You’re playing straight into his hands by responding. He’s misusing this board to bring nervousness and negativity.
