I would submit not. We are excercising a judgement on whether to believe Dr Smith or not based on the internal consistency of the RNS messages and the AVACTA website, the likelihood or not of them being false such relevant previous science eg the Leeds PHD as exists and the independently vouched credibility given to Dr Smith by his tie ups with various majors etc

I think the answer to that is clear PL75. There have been no real life examples known to us outwith the lab of affimers to test. I thought what was happening was a follow on debate on the subject of does previous reported science especially that which doen't concern affimers have much or indeed anything to say to us about the prospects or otherwise of success of our tests

You've been reading different papers to me Chengdo.
For example google cryptococcal antigen lateral flow testing and you will find a report of a particular piece of testing reporting 100% sensitivity (presumably the figure would be more impressive the more patients had been tested).
I am a non medic of little brain but even I can see that to throw around percentages and talk about accuracy is utterly meaningless. We should leave that to the tabloid press.
What presumably matters is whether our test detects at a level of disease that is considered acceptable. End of?
I think at least most of us have specificity cracked?

Every day I appreciate our contributors with medical and scientific backgrounds who give us their own unique insights and then open themselves up to debate.
In my job where I occasionally require to cross examine expert witnesses I have learned that their is no such thing as a question that is too daft.
Sometimes folks may arrive from other boards with what we may consider to be daft or agenda driven questions. Under those circumstances lets welcome them in the spirit of open debate.
Sometimes I like to muck about but every bb should remind itself that they do not have the monopoly of wisdom.

I have a certain amount of sympathy for what you say. Every single bb has a confirmation bias and will tend to rough up those not following their particular script. But if we all stay in our little bubbles and only talk to those we agree with we become myopic in our views.

You seem to know more than I Wbernard. Come onto the AVACTA board and if you are able to refer with evidence to the amount of viral load neccesary for Affirmers and why this is insufficient we can then debate.

I thought a virus was a pathogen ( bits of which the PCR detects) and antigens are protein molecules on the surface of the pathogen (which AVCT’s tests detect)
Anyway who am I to stop folks calling these tests whatever thry want.

They’re all referring to NCYT as having one.
But their PCR test doesn’t target antigens.
I went down like a lead balloon on the ODX bb for trying to make the same point.

Good post DD77. AVACTA is a company which believes whole heartedly in what could potentailly be its world beating product.
It has a hugely impressive tactically astute CEO and isn't letting itself be ignored by the naturally conservative (at least till Covid) pharma majors.

In any event it is not speculation to refer to the very recent research tending to show that spiky platelets can cause critical blood clots in a substantial number of Covid patients. And regular consumption of fruitflow deals with spiky platelets.
Get in into an RNS and then if any dots still need to be joined DSM donate one weeks pocket money.
It isn't a medicine. We don't need phases one two and three.

Longtermers have a decision to make. Stick or twist. I wouldn't like to influence either way. I've made mine in the short term. If KIBO 3 bags in the next month (whoop de doo say the long termers) which it may easily do then I will turn out to have made the wrong short term decision possibly. However I can honestly say I don't think in those circumstances I will have any regrets. I will still have refused to remain a victim and have again taken charge of my own sharedealing destiny!

The PXS boards communication level is dire. We haven't had a clue on their thinking in years. The chairmans annual statement imo might as well be a copy and paste excercise.
